Cottage vacation rentals in Central Europe

Amazing little place in Appledoorn with a really nice jacuzzi and very well equipped with all the essentials. Cozy and private, great for couples to chill and relax. Also greatly appreciated the free bikes to ride to town.

Very modern house with beautiful views over the mountains. Everything was very clean and smelled good. Cottage has all the amenities and everything has been thought of! Even more beautiful than in the photos. It has exceeded our expectations! The host Vinciane responds super quickly to messages and is very helpful. When a fuse blew in the meter box, it was immediately repaired. Also upon arrival a nice welcome package with a bottle of wine, Merci chocolate and some chips. Even in the fridge, some drinks were cold :)

Vedran's house was exactly how it was described. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in nature, away from busy and crowded places you're on the right place. Your own sauna and jacuzzi is a great bonus. Cheers, Daniel

We had a brilliant stay. The house was perfectly sized for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The hot tub was huge and was really relaxing after a long day out visiting local towns and cities. The place was peaceful and relaxing and although in close proximity to the owners house, it felt private and non intrusive. The house is perfectly based for visits to the Black Forest and exploring Alsace which we have enjoyed. Very clean, air conditioning and beautiful surroundings. Would recommend and would stay again.

We were a group of six adults, two children and a dog and stayed for four nights in Justine's cottage. Justine is a very warm host and was always easy to reach from the first contact, responded quickly and was always very friendly. The cottage is a little dream. We felt very, very comfortable. Every now and then, Kater Nick stopped by on the terrace, which made us all very happy. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired. Everything you need is on site. The house is surrounded by greenery and is right next to a small stream. So only something for people who have no problems with insects and small crawling animals. The parking situation is not ideal, but feasible. A maximum of two vehicles can be parked and these can also be parked one behind the other, so that one car is parked. Rooms and bathrooms in the attic are open to the top and therefore soundproof. We highly recommend this place. Thank you!

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

The time in the cottage was wonderful and the pool is a real highlight! We were able to relax for a week and the forest behind the house was great for the walks with the dog. We will be happy to come back! 😊

Daniels cottage was great. It is located on a meadow in the middle of a forest in the hills and is extremely quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for relax and rest. All was exactly as listed and described.

We stayed for a few days in the Las House of mateusz and joanna. Unfortunately, time went by way too quickly. The Las house is highly recommended, it is beautifully decorated, has an incredibly great location, for people who want it quiet and you lack absolutely nothing. Although you live in the middle of the forest, it is immaculately 🧼 clean. You really don't miss anything. Both were available at all times and were able to give us great tips. A small present was on the table upon arrival. Just super delicious and you feel right at home. All in all, an absolute recommendation. The hot tub is super clean and an absolute game changer in the evening. Also for my dog it was tip-top, huge garden with plenty of space to run. Bowls were also ready. We are grateful to have such experiences and look forward to the next time. We will definitely be back. 🏡😍

Very friendly contact the house and the lake as described simply perfect and beautiful the tranquility and the view of the lake. a perfect place to unwind. We were with 3 dogs and our dogs felt perfectly comfortable and enjoyed running free in the completely fenced property. For us, a perfect holiday destination for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and we will be happy to come back. Urszula's house is definitely highly recommended.

Piotr met us when we arrived. He was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The place was simply lovely inside and out. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks slung between the birch trees in the yard, went for walks and bike rides and did some bird watching. We saw wild deer too. It was an ideal location for exploring the Milicz fish ponds area of Lower Silesia. Piotr was very obliging, organising ebikes for us and even lending us a rolling pin so we could make pierogi. We did not want to leave. It was a dream vacation.

A beautiful place to get some rest and relaxation. Very peaceful surroundings with a well equipped home. Katrin was super accommodating to our needs and communication was super easy.

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in the house. The location is awesome and the private beach is simply fantastic. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. The house is clean and the garden with the beautiful view is awesome. We were 2 adults with 2 dogs and it was perfect for us. The dogs cannot get from the private beach into the water (water is only accessible via 2 ladders) but 10m from the house they can easily swim. The place is great for swimming with the dogs. The spiral staircase was also not feasible for our (medium-sized) dogs, but they slept upstairs in the living room without any problems and we slept downstairs in the bedroom. The house is equipped with everything you need and the recycling system is perfectly prepared by the host. Everything was very clean upon our arrival. We really enjoyed our vacation here and will definitely come back again.

The stay did not disappoint us again, the cottage was like heaven and the trips around the area are simply worth it. Whether you go up along the waterfalls of the Bílá Opava or take a walk along the ridge to Jelení studánka. The Jeseníky Mountains are beautiful and staying in this picturesque cottage only underlines everything. Divine peace, beautiful mornings and evenings, village atmosphere... and on top of that, an extremely pleasant hostess and caretaker. We had a great time, we'll definitely be back.

Really recommended for a couple and also for a single person who wants quiet. There are a few houses around but at a great distance and there is a huge area at your disposal with privacy. The property is tastefully decorated. It was pleasant if I could be in the area, I would love to stay again

We spent an extended weekend in the house and it exceeded our expectations. The house is quietly located and you immediately have a holiday feeling. It is very nicely furnished and in the kitchen there is nothing missing. The complex is very clean and nicely decorated. The sauna with garden shower was particularly good. We didn't lack anything. Many thanks to the hosts for the great communication and provision of the great house! We will be happy to return.

We had a very relaxed time. The house is an oasis of tranquility. Great lakeside location. Plenty of space for the children to play soccer. Everything is very clean, very thoughtful and furnished to a high standard. In short: we would love to come back :-)

It is a very nice large spacious apartment. Very nicely located in Piovere, from where you can start various hikes. Piovere has two restaurants and a nice little mini-market.

We had such a wonderful stay at Polne Chaty! I went with my boyfriend and it was just the perfect little getaway. The view from the place is absolutely stunning and the whole vibe is so relaxing — we instantly felt at home. The jacuzzi (which is extra paid) was totally worth it — one of the best experiences we’ve had! The host was super helpful and very proactive, making sure everything was just right for us. In the evening, we watched a movie on the projector — such a unique and cozy experience! Honestly, everything came together so perfectly — it felt like the perfect blend of comfort, fun, and relaxation. Highly recommend for a romantic or chill escape!”
