You will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with their own custom bathroom. The master bedroom opens to a large master bath with separate soaking tub. The living room, dining area and kitchen are open concept and a great place to relax with friends after a round of golf at the hotel or a relaxing spa treatment there. It was rainy weekend but was able to keep a fire going the flys was kinda bad but we got a fogger and it helped some didn’t have a cover to set under so we ended up setting under the pine trees until it got to wet the birds was nice to watch but there was female cardinal that wanted to hit the window all day I guess she was protecting her area it would start at daylight and she didn’t stop until dark other then that it was very nice

Our stay here was very relaxing. Stunning house built snug in the woods on a river. Listening to the birds while drinking coffee in the morning was my wife’s favorite. Our girls loved the bunk room and the hammock. Small space but high ceilings and well thought out design, decor, and furniture made it feel spacious. We explored the Marengo Caves, downtown Salem, and just enjoyed slowing down for a few days. We brought food with us, and cooked all the meals. They have everything you need there to make cooking easy. We loved it and want to come back in the fall when the leaves change.

It was the most cozy place! Paul was an amazing host! My vehicle got stuck in snow and without hesitation within an hour not only was I unstuck but the porch was shoveled and a walkway! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous! Neighborhood is quiet and friendly! The communication was fantastic always a quick response! All the beds are comfortable! The appliances are nice! It is nice to be comfortable and cozy! I higly recommend paul for anyones stay! My two children even love it here! The internet is amazing! Being close to patoka lake, jasper and french lick is plus! If you want a honest host with a great cozy place! Chose Paul!

The place is unique in decor with attention to details. The property is right outside of downtown but felt very secluded. It was surrounded on 3 side with trees and the other side was a hill so it was very private. The 2 decks were lit with perfect lighting that created a great ambiance for relaxing. AC works great, bathroom was beautiful, kitchen has all the utensils, glassware, wine glasses etc. Netflix was included which was a great touch. The host was friendly and responsive with any questions that I had, I truly have nothing negative to say about this property. I look forward to booking again.

Patty was a wonderful host! She was always responsive to any questions I had, and was always willing to help out with anything! Her cabin was perfect for a small weekend getaway with my husband. We brought our toy poodle with us with no issues. Beautiful property a surrounded by the woods and a small pond. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. I would recommend her place and would love to revisit again!
