Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cecil County

Sunset Place was a perfect spot and setup for large family or friend gathering. We were in from out of town for a wedding event and the house was so accommodating for what we needed. We have friends and family in the local campground and the house backs to that so it made it easy to enjoy everything down there. The home is welcoming, clean and has everything a family would need for a long trip or vacation. The host was amazing at communication and even helped when we had a snag and left an article in the home after. Each room was comfortable, the hot tub was a huge plus, and the fire pit was a nice addition to the night time when wanting down time. The beach access points are close by and there are a ton of local restaurants and such to enjoy. My mother lived in Northeast and we always visited so it felt like home and we are definitely going to return for family/friend trips yearly when in town. Thank you again for a great spot and amazing renovation to this local home.

We had a great time. There was plenty of space to move around so that everyone was not in each other's space. The place was very clean and well-stocked with some everyday items you would normally have in your house to cook, shower and clean with. Jen was very responsive with any questions we had. Even the small children loved the house, especially the bunk beds. It was easy to get to places we needed to go to. All 11 of us enjoyed our stay and everyone said they wouldn't mind returning for another family staycation.

This house was AMAZING! So much space. The rooms were so large, high ceilings and windows, it was just gorgeous! Trey was very responsive to any questions that we had. Lots of parking, just be sure to leave the far left space open for the host to park, since he lives on site at the back of the home (I missed this piece in the description). We had alot of friends visit that were down for the one day and everyone was blown away by the house, and many want to book in the future. The park next door was great for the kids to spread out..and Saturday was a BONUS, when they had live music playing, a food truck and beer tent..we had our own front row seat all afternoon....can't beat live music, by the campfire, by the water. A few notes for future renters: take your own toiletries (soap/shampoo not provided), the "no access" closet to the right of the stove, is actually where the brooms/trash bags and cleaning supplies are housed and you do have access to it. AMAZING stay! Jessica was a fantastic host and her place is super clean, so peaceful, cozy and quiet. Loved waking up and having coffee with the beautiful views. Will definitely be staying again!!

Cece had everything ready for us and our pup. The home was very clean and well stocked. She even had kindling and dry wood ready for the chimania. Instructions were clear and a binder with local attractions and restaurants was ready for us.

This was such a peaceful and beautiful getaway. The house was so charming and immaculate. That goes for interior and the exterior. We celebrated Father’s Day weekend here and our husbands had a blast fishing the pier and our littles walking to the beach. The rain head shower head and the heated bathroom floor was to die for, and enjoying a book on all the wonderful porches and beautifully kept backyard! We hope to visit again soon! Nothing compares to this amazing property. From the stunning location, the privacy and views... and of course Kevin personally greeting us when we arrived. I have stayed at the property 4 times now and have had an incredible experience each time. The beds are super comfy with great linens. The host is wonderful to work with and is very quick with any communication. The charm of this cottage is something very VERY special. We cannot wait for our next trip back!

Cute house in a quiet area. The beds were comfortable, and we were able to open the windows and hear the night sounds. The kitchen was well-equipped with what we needed. There wasn't a dining room table, but there was an outside area with a picnic table that we ate meals at. There was a countertop with stools inside, however. This would be a good home for mobility-impaired folks, as it had a stepless entry and interior. The area wasn't walkable, so we went to the Conowingo Dam about three miles away. We were told there are lots of bald eagles, so we went every evening to see them. All in all, a comfortable home away from home. Thank you!

Rose is a the super host of super hosts. She provides clear instructions from start to finish and really cares about the comfort of her guests. The apartment is spotless and in great shape. The neighborhood is peaceful and on a very quiet street away from traffic. This is our second stay, and we’ll be back again next year!

What a beautiful peaceful location. We had to drive everywhere we went but that was our intent. Everything we needed was provided, the apartment was spotless, and we had plenty of space for our belongings. We’ll definitely book this place again!

Great proximity to shops & restaurants while being on a quiet street. The home is spacious and the yard/neighborhood is very nice. I would happily stay again if in the area.

Stayed at 1Br for 6 weeks . Very beautiful and peaceful. Clean and cozy. Christine went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Even during snowstorm was provided a shovel and salt . Highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay here! Bob and Beth were extremely responsive hosts and provided a lot of clear instructions on how to find the carriage house. It was very clean and spacious and had a great coffee set up. The surrounding gardens are so lovely! Was quiet and walkable to the local downtown area

Wonderful experience, I really can't say one negative thing. Beautiful farm located in Amish country. My wife and I loved petting the calves, dogs and kittens. Wilma had cookies, bread, milk and eggs for us. Can't wait to go back!

We booked Erma's place for our birdwatching adventure. I had the master bedroom, which was large with comfy bed. My sister slept well on the futon in the second bedroom. Although she sometimes heard people walking around upstairs, their schedules aligned with ours, early to bed and early to rise. Then they were off to work and we went birding at the many wildlife refuges available. We cooked in the small kitchen, with plentiful supplies and condiments, and picked up groceries at Bylers and other nearby stores. The living room was large and comfortable. The large bathroom was conveniently off the living room. Since it was a little chilly with the ac on upstairs, we simply followed the instructions to close the vent and we were fine. Parking was convenient, and we sometimes hung out in the peaceful backyard, occasionally walking over to see the chickens. Erma responded promptly to any questions that I texted.

This place was so peaceful. I really felt comfortable and relaxed. It’s a very beautiful area.

Me and my girlfriend wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful to be together, so we chose this cabin. The stay was very comfortable and refreshing and fully met our expectations. This was our first time ever staying at an Airbnb and it was definitely an amazing experience. We would absolutely come back here again.

Very nice cabin. It’s obvious there was a lot of time and money invested into the cabin. Private and quiet yet only 10 minutes from groceries and dining. Lots of outdoor sight seeing and hiking close by. 5 minute walk to the river. Small stream on the property makes it very relaxing while sitting by the fire-pit. Host is super friendly and accommodating. We plan to return again in the near future.

My family loved the peaceful area around this home. It is quite, peaceful, and we were visited by some dear and rabbits. There is also an orchard down the road where you can visit, but it opened for the season the day after we left. The host was fantastic and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay. When we go back to the area to visit family, we will stay here again.

We had a great stay at this cabin—very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry were all in excellent shape and stocked well, and the washer/dryer was high quality. Beds and linens were comfortable, and the hot tub was a relaxing bonus. Appreciated the availability of streaming TV. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Only wish the patio furniture had been a bit more usable. Overall, highly recommend!

Stayed here in 2019 and again this week. Beautiful as ever, quaint and clean. My only criticism is the lights in the yard were not working and there was not a bulb in the back porch light so it was pitch black at night which made the outdoor area not as enjoyable as it could’ve been at night. Otherwise our stay was great.

This is may be my favorite airbnb that I've ever stayed at. The house was so well stocked--not just with the essentials but with all kinds of wonderful extras (soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, etc.) and the kitchen was not only well stocked but the knives were actually sharp and the pans were great quality etc. The area was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit (fire wood was well stocked). The dock was lovely and the kayaks in great condition. We enjoyed several kayaking ventures on the creek, which was beautiful and quiet. It felt like we had the creek all to ourselves!

We only stayed one night but everything was clean and comfortable and cozy. We loved seeing the horses in the morning! Thank you!

Our stay was memorable. Tim's cabin and property is more beautiful in person. The details are amazing. Our family has a wonderful time. If you are looking to relax and unwind from busy life this is where you want to stay. Tim was awesome host very attentive and helpful. We appreciate him allowing us to share this little gem.
