Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cave Spring

Great location! While watching the sun rise over the mountains, we spotted a herd of deer grazing in a field beyond the fence line. Our dogs absolutely loved it here! It’s safe to say, The Dairy Barn is now our new favorite stop. Tasteful decor throughout. Nice kitchen ware. Neat refrigerator with soft lighting, beautiful gas stove with clear directions. If you don’t feel like cooking, we Highly recommend Pizza Perfect on Main (7 minutes down the road). Excellent pepperoni twists & homemade ranch dressing. Thanks again Rebecca and your crew for the clean & cozy stay!

This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

This place is a gem. We’ve stayed here a couple times now and it’s a fantastic place to stay if you have young kids. Our son always enjoys playing with the toys they have on site and running in the big yard. Easy drive to stores and great restaurants.

This was our first experience with booking an Airbnb and found the host easy to communicate with, patient and helpful, very friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.

In town for a short, two days for a wedding. Location was easy access to the LU area. neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and very private enjoyed the babbling brook in the morning sitting out on the swing watching the deer. Bed is very comfortable. Very clean and well kept. Extra benefit coffee was provided. We will be back.

This is a very special and beautiful place!!! It is very rare to find something so close to Blacksburg and Christiansburg while also feeling completely private and surrounded by nature! The pond is quite large and has beautiful trout swimming around (NO fishing!). I did jump in for a swim on a 75° morning, but it is stream-fed and shaded - quite cold! I quickly couldn't touch my feet, so it's also quite deep. If you plan to swim, I'd suggest waiting for a 90°+ afternoon! We waded in the creek and walked the road listening to birds. The Merlin bird ID app identified SO many birds that we had never heard of, including a Louisiana Water Thrush, which kept jumping off the ground to catch bugs. I strongly recommend bringing your favorite insect repellent during insect months. But from an ecological standpoint, this is as close as you get to pristine nature and still having modern amenities! IMO, this would be perfect for a couple small families with kids. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect accommodations for our weekend trip. We were able to swing by the cafe for lunch on the way in and were immediately welcomed and the food was great! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Sinks Grove!

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

Stunning and serene, perfect if your idea of a weekend trip is to relax, be outside and enjoy the amenities. Not too far from the surrounding cities. Extremely clean.

This location at SML is great! Its close to everything including the water. I spent most of my evenings during my stay sitting on the dock and just enjoying the quiet and the scenery. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend renting a boat and just relaxing on the water. This was a great and complaint free experience.

Great place to stay while visiting L.U. It had everything we needed and was close to the University. Quiet neighborhood with easy check in. We would stay there again.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Kristen was a fantastic host! I booked a year in advance, and she was very helpful from start to finish. The stay was perfect for our out-of-town guest! Location, cleanliness and great communication was top notch!

My son and I had the best time staying at the black water junction cabin. We fell in love with the view, the animals, and the atmosphere. The cabin was spotless and fully stocked with anything we could have needed. The binder telling all of the history and little unique additions was so interesting! The bed was comfy, the towels were heated, and there were fresh eggs in the fridge. The hosts are so friendly and so quick to answer any questions I had. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be back!

Alison’s place was the perfect getaway for us to have a nice quiet weekend. It’s so private and relaxing. Wonderful views. Very close to the New River state park. House is clean and cozy. Nice outdoor areas with fire pit and grill. Our pups loved the space and fenced in deck area. Will book again in the future.

This property is GORGEOUS!! The cabin is beautiful and well-appointed. The view off the porch is INCREDIBLE! Plan to spend lots of time just staring at the beautiful mountains. Be sure to treat yourself to April's delicious cinnamon rolls...and any other of her delicious baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and unique property near one of the best vacation spots in Virginia.

Top 5 best ever rental! The Evergreen cabin is a peaceful, cozy and inspiring space to relax and recharge. Our dogs loved the wide front porch for afternoon naps and the humans loved the comfy bed and linens. Books, walks to the stream, and day trips to Lewisburg made this a dream vacation stay. We will be back!

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

Absolutely a great place for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Rented a boat and docked it right at the cabin, the cabin had everything we needed, and the lake is beautiful to be on!

This place was amazing. A beautiful, comfy hide-a-way right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was very clean and everything we needed was available. The host, Rebecca, was fantastic. She was very responsive and provided exactly what we needed before and during our stay. The artsy and amazing little town of Floyd, VA is about 15 minutes away and has anything you could possibly want and the drive to get there is breathtaking with multiple scenic over looks and a few parks and campgrounds in the area. There are multiple other beautiful little mountain towns within an hour drive of the areas as well such Mt. Airy, NC(home of Mayberry). We will definitely be back!!!Do your self a favor and book this wonderful little place. You will not regret it.
