We had an amazing stay - would definitely recommend! The apartment is very clean and well equipped (especially the kitchen, there was all the basics you need for cooking along with coffee which was much needed after a day of travelling!). Great views of the lake from the kitchen and terrace and ideally situated - a short walk to Ossuccio lido/sala Comacina and quick bus or 20 minute walk along the greenway to Lenno for bigger supermarkets etc. This was our third time staying in this area of Lake Como and we all agreed that the location was perfect, quiet and beautiful but also close to all our favourite lidos and restaurants. Monica was a brilliant host. She helped us with recommendations for restaurants and also made reservations for us when we needed help which was so kind. She answered us very quickly and was very friendly - we would definitely choose to stay at her apartment again.

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

Sarà was amazing start to finish, from being flexible with check in times to being amazing with local recommendations and even ensuring there was coffee around in abundance! Couldn’t have been more helpful and not only is she an amazing host she’s a fantastic local navigator. It’s worth all the stairs, trust us!

Casa Sarina is very nice and quietly located and has a fantastic view of Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive down the serpentine road to the valley. From the property you can either walk directly or after a short drive take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or to Monte San Salvatore. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again any time.

Absolutely stunning place! One of those rare cases when the place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Every detail is charming, and we especially loved the honey made by Gloria’s family. The authenticity of the house and its surroundings is perfectly balanced with comfort — you feel both inspired and at home. Palanzo isn’t the easiest place to reach without a car, but Gloria helped us arrange a transfer and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Our stay at Paolina’s home was absolutely blissful! As beautiful as the listing photos, they could not do justice to how gorgeous the home is. Every detail is so thoughtful and beautiful, from the windows to the linens. Paolina was so lovely, kind, and helpful during our stay and picked up our bags at the train station so we could explore the town before the house was ready for check-in! She also took all 6 of us to the train station when it was time to leave, gave us local recommendations, and spent time talking with us all on check-in. She was always very responsive via text, and connected us with a friend of hers who runs boat tours of the lake (a highlight of our entire time in Italy!). Every moment at the Green House was so peaceful, and the only thing I would change is that I wish our stay could have been 10x longer! I highly, highly recommend, and can’t wait to return someday!

The view of lake Lugano from the balcony is very amazing. AC is also very helpful during our stay in extreme heat. I changed my previously planned Airbnb to it due to the heat we will encounter. Great place.

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

There is a reason this Airbnb has a perfect 5 star rating! First of all the view is breathtaking! The hosts Nadia and Davide are so friendly and have really paid attention to every detail. Apartment was very clean and still very close to everything. It’s in walking distance to town and an easy ferry ride to all the popular towns. The hosts treat you like you are friends of the family and help you in every way from giving you dinner recommendations to providing bus and ferry schedules. Honestly one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. We wanted for nothing and would love to get the chance to stay here again!

Absolutely amazing stay! Monica and Paolo went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect stay. Sending the best recommendations and advice. They responded immediately and even came and delivered water when the shops were closed. The place is outstanding with amazing views. Would stay again in a heartbeat and our trip was so special. Would recommend a car to get to and get around as think it would be difficult without car.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Como at Silvia's apartment. Everything was as described and we really appreciated helpful advice about parking, enjoying the town, and travel around the lake. We wholeheartedly agree with earlier reviewer: everything about the apartment and amazing view 10/10. Kitty 11/10. Be prepared to surpass your goals on steps/flights of stairs climbed per day :-)

It was a wonderful apartment with astonishing views from all rooms and even the bathroom.  Designed with care and good taste. With attention to the details. Perfectly clean and a lot of sunlight.  Welcome drinks, snacks, and even local cake were a pleasant surprise. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

Incredible views, wonderful house, and great hosts. We already had a very pleasant exchange with Andreas before our departure. The place itself is beautiful, small, mountainous and from the house at the top of the rock, you have a perfect view of the lake. The apartment was clean, the garden very well maintained. At the beginning, the house was a little hard to find because of course you can't drive by car, but due to Andreas' pictures and descriptions, that was also feasible. Very, very happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is beautiful and the view was stunning! We loved sitting on the balcony each night. We also appreciated having a dryer. This space was very nice and accommodating. The location was very convenient to the train station, but it was further away than we realized from the coast. We wished it had been a touch closer to the main coastline. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! We loved staying at Luca’s home. Better than what we could have expected! Great location, everything we needed was in the apartment. The building itself is spectacular with the exposed stone and beams. Luca was a fabulous host from check-in to check out. Thank you for everything!

Both Francesco and his mom are super friendly, and very service minded. We had an amazing stay for 8 days and truly enjoyed it! The view is spectacular! And the apartment is perfect, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, which makes it easy to cook. I would however recommend trying the local Briisa de ness, really good food. I would stay here again any time! One little note, it’s not that easy to get around in the area with your dog, as there are no paths outside of the roads, the roads are quite small and sometimes a bit busy to walk on. So you will either have to drive a bit to get to an area suitable for walking. However there is a small garden attached to the apartment.

Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

When i booked this airbnb, i knew it would be a pleasant visit because been to nesso before and it is a beautiful place. HOWEVER, Ettore’s home absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. The home itself is so charming and full of character. The view was unreal. Like something out of a movie and i could not get enough of it. This was the most perfect weekend getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every day and everything was easy to find. Everything was super clean and honestly i could keep going and going about every wonderful thing about ettores place but im running out of words. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Xx

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!

The accommodation has fantastic views and offers plenty of privacy. Everything was spotless and the apartment is very fully equipped.
