I had a truly lovely stay! The place was cozy, clean, and beautifully set up. The lake view was absolutely stunning — so peaceful and relaxing. I especially enjoyed spending time by the fire pit at night; it added such a comforting touch to the whole experience. Everything was exactly as described, and it made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Stacey and Dave were wonderful hosts. The property was perfect and the most amazing views at the lake. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at Joe's place. He was easy to communicate with and was helpful. The furniture was very comfortable. The Sunporch was so nice, and we could see the water and hear the waves. We enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming. The location was perfect! Thank you Joe!

We had a great weekend getaway for memorial weekend and celebrating my sisters birthday! They went above and beyond and helped decorate the house before arrival and it could not have been more perfect! The boats were great! The house was in tip top shape! I have no complaints and we made amazing memories! The hammock was also an added bonus!!

The home is as described in the listing. Easy access and everything was clean and organized. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were crisp and clean, and there were nice fans in ever room. The A/C cooled the place down nicely after we arrived, so no worries if you're visiting during the warmer months. The area around the property was very quiet and secluded, especially during the weekdays when most of the surrounding homes were not occupied. The channel in front of the house is small but we managed to pull a few fish out of it during our stay. Great place to launch a kayak and see some of Saginaw Bay. During our stay the pressure tank for the water system malfunctioned. Alaina responded to my message in about one minute and had a plumber on the way to assess within the hour. The hosts stayed in contact with me throughout the process and resolved the issue as fast as possible. I would not hesitate to stay here again, my group had a great time.

We enjoyed our time here and thought it was very clean and well organized! Having kayaks, fishing, paddle boat, fishing boat etc all available to us and all kinds of water and beach toys was great. Things are super organized in their well-lit shed and having all these things accessible to us was a huge perk of staying here. The cabin was cute and very clean and welcoming.

Perfect place to stay! nestled just outside of Lexington. Private multi level deck with an awesome view and access to a private beach on Lake Huron. Cottage is tiny, but was the perfect size for two best friends getting away for the weekend!

Our stay was very beautiful and relaxing. Everything was super clean and felt homey. Communication was great, and this was perfect for me and my partner. Right on the lake and absolutely stunning. Only thing I would note is that with warm weather and it being on the lake there are a lot of flying bugs (but that's to be expected). It is a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend this for your next stay up north!

Our stay was fantastic. Beautiful cottage on a gorgeous lake would stay here again and again in a heartbeat. Extremely kid friendly to five kids all under 7. The lay out is open and feels much bigger than you think. The lake and beach were amazing with so much to do and keep everyone busy. Plenty of things to do in Tawas on a windy chilly morning at the lake. Everything was SO clean! I would highly recommend to anyone, you will not be disappointed! The host was friendly and super responsive!

We enjoyed our stay for our Mother & Daughters weekend. The beach access was at the camp next door but our neighbors also let us use there access which was a little closer. We did rock painting, checked out Farmer's Market with excellent fry pies and other crafts. There is a cute antique place trash to treasures. I got a lot of sunrise and sunset pics that were beautiful. It was close and convenient for getting mom there and she was able to sit on covered porch. It was also difficult because there is only one bathroom and it is upstairs. Altogether, we would recommend this place . We made a lot of memories with our mom and that is priceless.

James was very responsive and allowed for an extended stay as well. He also quickly worked with a tree service company to quickly resolve a fallen tree during a storm. Kudos!

The cottage was cute, everything we expected. Very accommodating for my bridesmaids as I was married on the 7th. Only 2 miles from my location so everything was comfortable and easy and as you know, the least amount of issues the better. Very grateful to the host for the cozy accommodations free from issues. Will use again if we need to, we usually have large gatherings in the summer.

Mick was an accommodating and generous host. He was available to answer our questions. The home was beautiful, clean and uncluttered. The water was shallow as far as we could wade out. The kids enjoyed the lake with tubes. We enjoyed our family time together there!

We had a wonderful stay at Adam’s place on Sage Lake! The house was very clean and spacious and easily accommodated our group. The kitchen was well stocked. The place offers the best of both worlds- a relaxing place to soak in the lake views or an action packed time with all of the lake and home amenities. The neighbors/property managers Frank and Patty went above and beyond! We brought our own boat and when we had some boat issues they jumped right in to help us- just wonderful, kind people. We had such a great time- we even bought Sage Lake apparel to remind of us of our trip. We will definitely be back!

A great stay for our family of 9. The place could have been a little cleaner, as there were lots of cobwebs and dust. But the view and beach were excellent! Owner is slow to respond to messages but was quick to respond back to a phone call when we had an issue.

We stayed over Christmas for one week. It snowed heavily and the owner was kind enough to remove snow from the driveway before our arrival. Also, there were beautiful Christmas decorations and even a little lit tree which was very thoughtful. The house was nicely decorated even without the holiday decor. I felt I was staying in a home rather than a rental which was nice. We had all that we could need while we visited. There were even two types of coffee makers. BTW- there is a lovely coffee shop about 2 miles down the road in Port Sanilac. One of the best things about the house is the views. We loved watching the Lake from our bed in the morning. BTW- I felt the bed was comfortable. To the right of the house is a roadside pull-off/park which gave us more privacy. We fit two adults and one teen (Our 9-year-old stayed 1-2 and opted for grandmas the other nights) comfortably. Perfect size for a group of 4. We would recommend staying in this beautiful house. My family of 5 had a great stay! Michelle has really gone over and above to make sure the house has everything to make you feel at home. She even decorated the house for my son's birthday because I mentioned that's why we were taking the trip. Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! The lake and beach were so beautiful. Every night we had a perfect view of the orange moon! The water was very shallow during our stay which was ideal for us. The kids could go far out and still only be at hip level. Definitely suggest water shoes though! The kids have rated it as their top favorite vacation spot so far! We hope to go back in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place Michelle! It truly was an amazing place to spend our last week of summer!

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

It was a home away from home, the place was so cozy! It was relaxing, you could hear the sound of the waves. Nobody was around and we feel safe. My whole family enjoyed our stay! We will definitely come back!

We were so thankful for a beautiful family vacation on Lake Huron. This house is wonderful for all ages and the hosts were very supportive and proactive to ensure all our needs were met. The property was so quiet and peaceful, the perfect getaway!

This property was beyond beautiful, cozy, relaxing… all of the above and more. We wanted to use the second house available but there’s so much room at the main house and we just never got around to splitting up at night. lol The main house has so much space! There was plenty to do and honestly we all just enjoyed the openness of the house and being able to all be together whether we were cooking, relaxing or watching movies. The beach was beautiful and the hot tub was a treat. The host was proactive in making sure everything was easy and going well and responsive when we had questions. We will definitely be back!!

This place was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing! The one recommendation I'd have is to put lights down all the stairs to the beach and fire pit. It gets very dark at night and those stairs are steep and dangerous since they aren't lit up so we had to always use our phones to see. Very well lit lights would be highly recommended as an addition for extra safety and people being able to see while walking down to the beach and fire pit. Outside of that, the property was great!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and spacious home! Our group of 17 (a mix of adults and kids) fit comfortably, and the house had everything we needed. The private beach was a huge highlight. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and stories, and the kids loved the playset. The home was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a big family gathering. We made some wonderful memories and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend!
