My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. It fit our group perfectly. Kitchen was very spacious and usable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot tub was also an excellent addition. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home is clean, well maintained and stocked with everything you might need without feeling cluttered or crowded! It also provided very clear instructions on all the house things you might need to know (where things are, how they work etc.) during your stay! 5 minutes to a Safeway, and Kings Beach with all the shops and restaurants, making it a great location! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with lots of space, great amenities and comfortable beds. Zephyr Cove is a lovely, quiet area but still close to local restaurants, shopping and hiking trails. The hosts were very responsive and promptly answered our questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice house with a great room and 2 bedrooms, just the right size for a family. It was ideal for a skiing trip to Northstar for me and my 2 children. The hot tub was nice and clean and felt great after a day of skiing. There is a nice gas fireplace that was both cheery and warmed up the room and helped dry out our snow pants. The location is great for getting to both Northstar and downtown Kings Beach - note that you do have to get over a pass to get to Northstar, so in the winter bring your chains or AWD car in case of weather. It feels professionally run - the hosts were proactive about communication and quickly responsive. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Cabin was well set up, beds comfortable, many games/ equipment available for use. The hot tub and views from the deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

Everything inside feels high-end, from the furniture to the finishes, making it not just a place to stay but a space to enjoy. The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

Absolutely Incredible Stay! We had the most amazing experience staying at this property. The Susan was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The house itself exceeded all our expectations — it was spacious, beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and cozy. The coffee machine was lovely. It was such a treat to wake up each morning and enjoy a great cup of coffee in such a cozy and stylish space. We truly didn’t want to leave. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier stay, and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much Susan!

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

Stayed at Burt’s place while attending a herding trial in Gardnerville with our dogs. The place was perfect! It was so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and a joy to cook in. The dogs enjoyed the yard. Beds were super comfortable, locals were very nice. The restaurant next door, Stonefly, is pricey but the food and ambiance is excellent. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely cabin in Tahoe City! Just up the hill, close to the city but quiet enough that you can hear the creek running through the backyard. Nicely furnished with a king sized bed and a fireplace right by the bed

This is the second Memorial Day weekend that we’ve stayed at this wonderful little cabin. And it is just as lovely as last year. Kings Beach waterfront is just a couple minutes walk away, such a beautiful spot. Thank you for hosting us yet again.

Steven was very friendly, easy to reach and fast responses. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, if the couch was a bit bigger might be more comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and being that we stayed in for dinners was fantastic, the stove and hood system was amazing! Loved the bedrooms in the upstairs loft, super cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely return and appreciate Steven's communication and overall positive approach!

We loved our stay in North Tahoe! We were traveling with two dogs and quickly felt right at home. The house was even better than the photos. The cabin was cozy, very clean, and featured a well-stocked kitchen with excellent coffee-making options. Everything was very new—from appliances to pots, pans, to towels and bedding. Located less than a 10-minute walk from North Shore beach and a few minutes' drive from Kings Beach, it was the perfect spot for all our outdoor activities. Lisa was an exceptional host—very responsive, offering early check-in, and when a minor maintenance issue arose, she proactively checked in regularly to ensure everything was resolved. We can't wait to go back!

I stayed in Cottage #1 for 5 weeks and had a fantastic experience. The place had everything that I needed for an extended stay and Kathleen was quick to respond to any questions I had. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Carson City!
