Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Carnon Downs

Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

Perfect little spot to stay, right in the centre of everywhere we planned on visiting. Rachel was very good with communicating with us, and had a nice surprise to some drinks and cake in the fridge for when we arrived! Would highly recommend 👌

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

We loved are stay, it was beautiful, peaceful, felt like you were miles from anywhere. Great hosts, very quick response to messages. It was a little hot the first night so we ask if they had a fan and they supplied one strait away. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic week in the Old Schoolhouse. It's placed centrally in the village with shops, restaurants, pubs etc all walkable, including easy access to the SW coast path and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The apartment is beautifully kept and spacious - even if rain kept you in you'd be comfortable. We hope we might stay again sometime.

Barbara's house is wonderful. It has a stunning view over Mawgan Porth beach and you can walk down to the beach via the dunes. Sitting on the balcony in the evening enjoying the view is a treat! The house itself is lovely - compact but it has everything you need. Barbara is a very responsive and helpful host. I would very happily stay again!

We couldn't have wished for a nicer stay. On arrival Mel had left us a welcome basket of goodies, including dog treats for Teddy our cockapoo. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the balcony admiring the amazing view. Her place was perfect for our weekend away, and handy for walking to Porthtowan. The Blues bar and beachside cafe did not disappoint and would recommend a visit to both. We have fallen in love with Mel's place and Porthtowan, and can't wait to come back very soon.

We had a fabulous stay in Chy Lowen. Such a beautiful, extremely comfortable & welcoming home. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The property is very well equipped and so tastefully decorated. Steven was a fabulous host, providing lots of information and always replied promptly. We won’t hesitate to return. Thank you

Tolle Unterkunft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Oh Wow! Adorable! Such a peaceful, tastefully decorated, cosy and well equipped haven in the woodlands. Literally so easy to get to and fabulously placed for St Ives, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount…. The list is endless. Tina is such a warm and responsive host too. Not only was Butterfly Rest itself beautifully inviting but Tina also, made us feel so welcome through her communications with us. We actually didn’t even eat out…. It was just so nice after our busy days, to come home and prepare food to enjoy at leisure, especially with the view of the squirrels visiting to see if we had popped any nuts or sunflower seeds out for them (seeds provided by Tina)… so cute ❤️ Thank You Tina, your thoughtful decoration and equipping of Butterfly Rest made it a fabulous stay for us! ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay in Perranporth! Loved our stay here — spotless, stylish, and super comfy. The location was perfect: peaceful, yet close to the beach and town. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after long coastal walks. Great hosts — we’ll definitely be back!

One of the best places we’ve stayed. The house was brilliantly equipped and beautifully put together. The site has loads to stuff to entertain kids and great dog walks. The hosts, Anthony and Alison, were very kind and responsive, even over Christmas. We highly recommend this property and we would love to return in the summer.

The nicest static caravan we’ve ever stayed in! The place was immaculate, our hosts were great on messaging and left us a very helpful book which made everything so easy, even with two boys. The park was really quiet even though it was full, the boys loved the park and the pub was perfect for a quiet pint in the evening. The value for money was unreal, the absolute perfect base for exploring any part of Cornwall

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X

Es war einfach herrlich in Emmas Lodge. Sehr gemütlich, es war alles da, was wir für einen Wohlfühlurlaub mit unserem Hund wünschen konnten. Die Ausblicke auf die Bucht und auf das Meer sind einfach traumhaft und unbezahlbar! Und der Blick auf St. Mawes, so unfassbar schön! Wir haben viele Wege von der Lodge aus erwandert, aber auch so manches Ziel gut mit dem Auto erreichen können: Bodmin Moor, Trebah Garden, das Eden Projekt und die Tate Gallery haben über zwei Regentage hinweg getröstet. Die Ausblicke am Küstenwanderweg lassen immer wieder das Herz höher schlagen! Das Essen im Standart Inn war himmlisch und an der Hidden Hut in der Sonne bei Kaffee und Kuchen zu sitzen, ist einfach schön! Danke Emma, es war klasse. Und die Kommunikation seeeehr freundlich und hilfreich!

We had such a lovely stay here, it was really clean, in a great location to travel around, lovely amount of space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay 😊

Outstanding location, 10 min to friendly st mawes, you can take the foot ferry across, great ferryman btw. Brilliant weather our week so sunny , visited cellar beach , a short walk from the cottage to the side of place manor, great for swimming, paddle board ect or watching the boats sail by. Cottage very private indeed , a space to completely relax and switch off , set in a walled garden , a little sun trap, orchard , no traffic noise, just the friendly birds , in all perfect. We look forward to booking again soon , can’t wait to come back . Thankyou John

Our second stay at Stable Cottage, Alison's place is a great spot to explore from. I'm sure we'll be back again!

De cottage ligt heel centraal gelegen om uitstappen te doen. De mijnhistoriek is overal aanwezig in het landschap. Een heel leuk tuintje en een cottage die helemaal in orde is en smaakvol ingericht is met alle comfort. De bedden zijn zalig om op te slapen enkel is het dubbel bed maar een 1,50m breed. Toch goed om weten als je met 2 volwassen koppels daar verblijft. Voor de rest was alles pico bello in orde.

This house is perfect. Clean, extremely spacious with a delightful garden complete with table and chairs, leading on to the stream. This is our second stay, another one booked for the autumn and already thinking about next year. A real home from home, in a delightful village and with good neighbours. Can’t fault it at all.

thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. we were visiting the area for Falmouth shanty festival so we're out most of the daytime , we returned to a lovely quiet relaxing location and waking to the sounds of the birds chirping. everything we needed was there including some lovely fudge and milk in the fridge, would highly recommend it.

We had a magical stay at Clemi’s, it exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for our break. So lovely and cozy surrounded by pretty gardens- and a short stroll to a great pub too! Thank you Clemi!

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Clare was very clear on the whole process of how to get to the property,check in,ideas for places to visit and things to do.The personalised written message and goodies are special touches that mean a lot so thank you!cannot praise everything about our stay enough!we hope to be back!X

We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!
