Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Carbondale

A wonderful little place! Quaint & tucked away; only a 10-15m ride into town. Candace made the two of us feel right at home and had great recommendations. The backyard is a birders paradise! Great home base for multiple Shawnee sights & wineries; would definitely revisit.

Amanda and Joy were the best hosts I have ever had! My wife and I spent the weekend there as we got married and they decorated the home to make us feel so welcomed and seen! There were pride flags, stickers, streamers and treats and it was so lovely. We don’t always get hospitality that way, so to feel the love and excitement through them was incredible. Thank you both so much.

Roxanne was a great host! She allowed us an early check in which was very helpful. Great place to stay when you are on the area! Highly recommend.

This place was so realxing. Lots of space for our family to spend time together but not feel like we were crowded. We had 6 adults and 2 small children and never ran out of hot water. Looking forward to returning.

Stayed here with a friend and our 2 dogs. Had a chance to meet Teresa and her two pups. She was very friendly. I think my gps took me the long way around to her house. I was beginning to wonder if I was in the middle of nowhere but that was not the case. The place definitely is more rural than urban but we were very close to Carbondale. I would stay again.

This quaint and cozy place was a perfect stay for our road trip. The patio was a great spot to enjoy dinner! The weather wasn’t the best but we made the best of it and did enjoy the pool for a bit.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating his birthday at Amy’s place! It was so cute and cozy and she made us feel right at home. Everything, including the dock and kayaks were super accessible. It was perfectly clean and welcoming and I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a classic Midwest getaway!

Such a wonderful place to stay!! My husband had a two week work trip in the Cape area and this was the perfect home away from home for him to stay. It had all the amenities he needed in a peaceful area to relax in the evening times. Our host was so very attentive with very quick responses to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

Judson and Betsy were lovely! So kind and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The place was super cute, and in a beautiful location next to the woods (we saw some cool wildlife). They included anything you could possibly need, from kitchen supplies to first aid to an iron and ironing board.

This was a really nice place to stay. Quiet. Easy to get in and out. Close to the lake and things you may need in town. The inside was neat , packed with cute little car things. It would be perfect for a smaller family. It was a little tight with our big family but we still made it work ! They have just about everything you would need . Very convenient. The host was amazing, answered quickly and very friendly. 10/10 I would recommend staying here

It was a great private location surrounded by nature, close to restaurants. A very beautiful stay and it felt like home. The hostess was very kind and understanding when our dog had an accident. We had such an amazing time.

Ashley and her lakefront rental were both amazing! She made check in and out so seamless and easy , place was juys wayt we needed As makanda girl I really enjoyed the peaceful private yet safe neighborhood feel a lot It was wonderful to sit on that bench and watch the sunset over the lake and was so serene Hope to stay there again sometime Ashley was great

Anna's listing was just as described. Nice place out of town. Anna was very friendly and responsive. She worked with me on entrance due to a funeral; which I greatly appreciated!

There’s so many nice things to say about this place. It’s private and secluded, which allowed it to be a more peaceful experience. The space was clean, and had all the things you may need. Ex: extra pillows, air mattresses, coffee, seasonings, a dog leash and snacks. Rebecca was a great host! She was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall 10/10 experience!

Enjoyed the stay for the weekend. Had 2 trucks one pulling a boat and one pulling 2 jet skis and had plenty of room to park. Bedroom has 4 twin size beds and one full sized bed along with a big sectional. Had pots and pans so we could cook. Nice place to stay overall would recommend to a friend

I loved the amenities at this home! It was great for an extended stay and pet-friendly! The location was only a short drive from restaurants, stores, and outdoor activities. The backyard was adorable. The amenities were truly unique. Linda left a dozen of fresh eggs on the fridge and pick your own garden on the property. The home was very clean and the decor was outstanding! The host Linda was AMAZING! She was so responsive and helpful. There was no excessive check out cleaning rules like other places I have stayed. Just lock up and leave. I would highly recommend staying here and when I come back to the area I plan on staying here again! Thank you Linda! You are a wonderful human!!

This is the perfect getaway from life for the weekend! So cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Good for the soul. 10/10 recommend.

It’s was a great little get away! Gloria was very responsive with all our questions. The date we had originally booked for, the area was due to get some major flooding. When we voiced our concerns, Gloria was very understanding and let us change our weekend. The cabin was very cozy. The deck to the side of the cabin was nice for reading in the morning. It wasn’t too far from hiking trails. Gloria even let us know of an event happening in the town near the cabin. Which we did venture over too and did a little exploring! Overall, it was a great get away.

Absolutely beautiful. Great getaway. James was so communicative and a great host. It’s hard to find a place for a large family like ours and we felt right at home.

A wonderful little place to enjoy nature on the covered porch (especially while raining) with a lovely little creek just below. Nice layout for staying and entertaining guests. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

I was blown away by this location! It's perfectly private and gorgeous, and the deck space and fire patio made for an awesome way to chill with our friends and food! We planned to cut costs by making all our meals, and the kitchen spaces perfectly accommodated that (and even came equipped with some extra amenities we hadn't brought like ketchup, mustard, coffee stuff, etc) which saved us that extra on our quick grocery stop! We were all happy with the Wii and board games, the garage as well! The rooms were super tidy and comfortable, as were the bathrooms and really everything! Lots of space inside, well air-conditioned during 80-90s, and stay-in time was just as memorable as trips out, and that last night we all really didn't want the trip to end haha! And of course, Nikki was super responsive and helpful from the very beginning to the very end, I couldn't ask for a better host! By far the most memorable airbnb stay I've had, would love to stay again!

Andrew was an excellent host. Very helpful and friendly. The hot tub was awesome! Bring your tiki torches though. The yard has big beautiful trees with lots of birds singing and squirrels playing. The cabin was rustic chic, very cosy and quiet. Its in a neighborhood thats mostly quiet and so close to downtown and the river. We had a very restful stay.

We had a wonderful stay. It’s in a beautiful country setting surrounded by stunning nature. The perfect getaway if you want to get away from all stress. Will definitely book again next time I’m in the area
