Cottage vacation rentals in Capital Region of Denmark

We were 7 adults and one child and the house was ideal for that with 4 small rooms, a large living room where we all found good space and a beautiful garden. The sea was close and you almost had the beach to yourself and could enjoy beautiful sunsets. Communication with Ole was friendly and smooth!

Great communication with the host even after a couple of hiccups regarding the cleanliness. The house was cozy and we would be back anytime.

simple, easy and great spot for a getaway. the hottub takes time to get going with a lot of firewood, so make sure you've bought enough. sauna is great too. top notch.

We had a wonderful time, the house offers every amenity and especially in the preseason after a hike a lot of peace, a cozy fire, hot tub, sauna etc. The large kitchen really leaves nothing to be desired if you are too lazy for the 5 min to the restaurant. The location is ideal as a starting point for day trips. Henrik provided us with a lot of information, the house was accommodatingly equipped and he responded promptly to any questions. Watching the pheasants, rabbits and deer in the garden from the living room was wonderful. Our Bornholm trip was perfect, I am very glad to have booked with Henrik!

The place is cozy and lovely. Great for a short stay to disconnect and recharge!

Janus and Trine were both very friendly and communicated the relevant information in time. The place itself was worth every penny. The garden and living room allowed for activities in bigger groups while there was also lots of space for privacy. I would recommend this place for larger groups, looking for a peaceful place to spend quality time together.

The cabin is in a perfect location, very private. it was very easy to reach even without a car. we were very happy with the 4 bikes that were provided by the hosts, which we used to explore the areas around. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor games to play. The sauna is a big plus too! The communication was excellent. We had many questions but the hosts replied in a very short time and were flexible with check out time.

We were allowed to stay here with our 4 children and a week. Henrik was waiting for us for a friendly welcome with something tasty and short tour of the house. It all looked neat and we lacked nothing. Everything is present. The children had a good time, the hot tub and sauna were wonderful and the view was most beautiful, like a postcard. So you have to take the car for a supermarket or bakery. We really enjoyed it!

We had a lovely stay in this well appointed summerhouse. The garden and terrace is very private and great to relax in the sunshine. The wood sauna is a great feature as well as the cold pool which we enjoyed. Would thoroughly recommend this cozy place to explore the countryside.

From entering in the door we were all enchanted with the place. Rustic, simple but beautiful. So many special touches that shows this is a real home. Fresh flowers in vases etc. Kitchen well equipped, bathroom fine, comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The garden is lovely, with two sitting areas, the upper with sea views. Bornholm is so small you can explore it all in a few days, but so lovely we could happily have stayed longer.

Well, it's just wonderful to come 'home' here. There is a calmness here in the cozy house, which I enjoy every time! And yes, I'd love to come back again - soon!

We had a very nice stay in the cozy summer house. A wonderfully quiet area. In the summer house there was everything we needed to find. One was also easy to contact us during our stay to ask questions. For the children, there were nice toys. There is a spacious garden at the summer house to sit or play.

We spent nearly two weeks traveling around Denmark with our 2 & 4yo- this was hands down one of our most favorite Airbnb’s. Its location is perfect- easily accessible to the beach, a quaint downtown area and the outside space of the Airbnb itself felt like such a special retreat. This home had everything we needed and it was perfectly charming- we really loved the overall design and especially enjoyed all of the beautiful artwork throughout. Frederickke was so thoughtful and kind- she answered all of our little questions and gave great recommendations! Would definitely recommend booking this gem!

A beautiful, cozy cottage. It has all that is needed for a stay. The scenery is just superb. Check in is totally easy and communication is great.

What a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful, unique place. So much peace, space and that view! We didn't meet Majken, but we had good contact via messages. She gave us nice tips in terms of restaurants and swimming spots. The supermarket is within walking distance of the cottage. We spent wonderful days!

A calm and cosy little house that is well-equipped with almost anything that’s necessary. Marlene is committed to make you feel right at home.

What a nice place the A house of Sofie and family is a nice place. Not only is the house beautiful, but the surrounding area as well. You will be on the beach in no time and can explore North Zealand from the cottage (think Gilleleje and Hornbaeck, but also Copenhagen). Sofie is great host. She responds quickly to any questions and has many tips for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Great place, great area and a great host! Couldn't be better. The house is super cozy and fully functional, with plenty of sleeping space and a lovely garden. A find for the price. Bente was super helpful and communicative and it was easy as a breeze to check in and out of her house again. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Daniel's place. It is beautifully built & decorated, super cozy and well equipped. The outdoor area is great, beautiful sunset terrace and a huge garden. In the shed there were even bikes that we could use. The area is very quiet, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket by bike, you can easily drive to the sea by bus from Melby (about 15 minutes). So a vacation is possible with public transport here, the cabin is easy to reach from Copenhagen by train. Only note: you have to bring your own bedding & towels! We had a wonderful time here, gladly again

The home is in a lovely setting. It is equipped with everything you need. The home is clean and everything is in good working order. The email instructions as well as the printed handout in the home were very clear and helpful

An absolutely fantastic stay! Priscilla and Torben are wonderful hosts – warm, helpful and with an eye for every detail. The house is flooded with light, stylishly decorated and sparkling clean. The view of the water is breathtaking – whether from the dining table, the living room or the spacious terrace with cozy seating area. The sunsets behind the trees are magical and unforgettable. The fireplace provides cozy warmth on cool evenings, the surroundings are quiet, natural and invite you to relax or walk – especially the private access to the water is a real highlight. Everything was perfectly organized, nothing was missing. We felt completely comfortable and will be back for sure. Thank you for this wonderful time!
