An incredibly charming, rustic, simple and comfortable small cottage, in a gorgeous rural setting. Just as advertised. It was perfect. Right across the road is Tivoli Bays, with beautiful trails for walking and hiking, and a small waterfall too. If you like, it's just a short walk to Broadway, the main strip in the village of Tivoli. You'll find a few restaurant options, a small market, sandwich shop, excellent coffee, and homemade ice cream. I met Yuko who couldn't be nicer and was a pleasure to chat with. A great experience all around - highly recommend booking a stay!

A massive thank you to Julian and Karen! I brought my girlfriend here for our 5 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The cabin was so cozy and our hosts were so kind. Woodstock was a really cool area and it is only 20 minutes away from the cabin. We would love to come back in the future :)

We were in Lenox to attend a reunion for the Lenox School for Boys ( Grad “66” ). The cabin was perfect for our needs especially because we could have our dog with us. Most of our time was spent with activities scheduled for the reunion so we didn’t really get to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the cabin. There will be another reunion in 2026 so we will be looking forward to another stay at the Luv Shack. Thanks for sharing your abode. Pete & Becky Davis Mechanicsburg PA

We absolutely loved Maple Hill Farms. It's a wonderful place and a perfect choice for a trip to the Berkshires if you're an animal lover. The best part of our weekend was bonding with Philip's sweet and friendly donkeys! The studio is well laid out with everything you need, the farm is beautiful and peaceful (except for the roosters, haha!), and the location is great for visiting local sights like Mass MoCA and The Mount. We hope to be back!

The location was perfect for our needs. Samantha greeted us when we arrived and responded to our texts. This the second time we’ve stayed here and loved it.

Thomas was an exceptional host and was very attentive. The actual cabin itself was so cozy it made it hard to want to go outside (luckily it was rainy most of the weekend). Lake George was a short 5 minute drive and walkable distance to get to, the surrounding woods and trial were extremely beautiful and quiet. The home was exactly as described and also had genius labeling on appliances concisely explaining how to use them. The kitchen was great, we cooked every meal and were so relaxed, the bed was great too everything was 10/10 would definitely go back and recommend!

Amazing stay for a weekend get away. Attentive but allowed you to do your own thing. Beautiful.

Tony & Jerilyn’s place was perfect for our stay. I had a conference in Saratoga and had to bring my 3.5month old with me. The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to everything, but still quiet enough to not wake a sleeping baby. We were able to check in early and Tony & Jerilyn offered to provide additional accommodations for the baby. Access to the Airbnb is up a staircase that is much sturdier and much less steep than it appeared in the listing photos. My 65+ year old parents did not have too difficult of a time making trips up and down. I would highly recommend Tony & Jerilyn’s place for a quiet and convenient place to stay.

We chose to spend 4 days at Peter/Cathy's to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary and it's the 1st place we've stayed that was so much better than the pictures! Trying to describe how gorgeous and peaceful this place is hard but for me I'd say if you've ever wondered what it would be like to live inside a Bob Ross painting with a cottage by a waterfall then this is the closest real life place. The constant sound of the falls is so incredible to fall alseep to. everything was ready to go and we even walked in to some home baked cookies and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary which was so amazing that they remembered why we were staying there. it was the perfect place for my wife and I to check out, relax and re connect all over again. its place is so cozy and just sucks you right into relaxation the way they have everything setup. marked trails are maintained very well but most of left natural which makes it that much better to explore the property. this place is a hidden gem!!!

The Nest was a great spot for us to rest and recoup before our NEYC day! Mary was easy to work with, communicated well, and provided a great space with so many thoughtful extras!

The house is very comfortable and feels like home. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped — a great experience for cooking. There’s a peaceful courtyard that’s perfect for calming your mind or reading a book. One night, we even spotted a bear from the window! It’s a great location, and don’t worry — the bears are vegetarian. Elisa and Mickey are very kind and responsive. They’ll even create a personalized list to help you explore the town, even if you’re not familiar with the area. You can shop at Taft Farm — my favorite local farm. Cooking at the house really made it feel like home, and also “farm to table” experience. Thank you!

I chose The Little Bliss Pond House as my proposal site. The location was absolutely breathtaking and exactly what I imagined. Cara was extremely responsive and helpful during the entire process. I would highly recommend The Little Bliss Pond House to anyone looking for a quaint and peaceful location surrounded by the best nature has to offer. About a 10 minute drive to some great restaurants and shops in Saugerties, The Little Bliss Pond House is the perfect escape for a weekend. 10/10. Thanks Cara!

Very much enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and easy to check into. The best part was how close it is to Saratoga race track. We were in Saratoga for the Belmont Stakes and were able to walk to the track. Would definitely come back again.

We had an amazing stay here. Originally booked for two nights but extended for a third because we liked it so much. Perfect location, very close to Woodstock and shopping, restaurants, fun things to see and do. The unit was impeccably clean and well-maintained, spacious, bright and cozy. And the view is to-die-for. The most stunning and picturesque scenery I’ve experienced in years - and we live in the Hudson Valley! It was the perfect Memorial Day getaway. Plus the properly manager was very communicative and helpful with all questions we had. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly sweet and attentive. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every little detail was thoughtfully prepared—from the cozy touches around the house to all the amenities provided, she had absolutely everything you could possibly need to make your stay convenient and stress-free. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and just as stunning as the pictures. It had such a peaceful and welcoming vibe, we felt relaxed the entire time. It’s clear that she takes great pride in maintaining the space and making sure her guests are comfortable. And let’s talk about the pool—what a dream! It was definitely the cherry on top of an already perfect stay. Clean, refreshing, and surrounded by a lovely atmosphere, we spent so much time enjoying it. We are so grateful for this experience and would absolutely love to come back. If you’re thinking about booking this place go!

I spent a weekend at Chris's adorable country home and I loved every second of it. From her warm greeting with her sweet pup Emma, to the fresh fruit and snacks she provided, to the clean and comfortable apartment, everything was just as wonderful as I expected it to be from the pictures and listing. But for me, the absolute highlight was the immediate access to walking trails through nearby woods and fields, and a paved rail trail that led to more extensive walking trails through a farm preserve, as well as the quaint neighboring towns. But if hiking wasn't my thing, I would have been just as happy sitting on the deck or curled up in the bright and sunbathed living room with a good book. I hope to be able to return some day to this beautiful area and charming location.

It's home away from home! Everything we needed was available. Dianne and John were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The layout was beautiful with lots of attention to detail. We would definitely stay again if they'd have us.

We had originally created the reservation for an event we were attending. Then, a family emergency occurred in which we needed a place sooner than the original date. Lydia had the availability and altered the dates for us. After this, the emergency required us to extend the stay - twice. Lydia had the availability and changed the dates again. Her flexibility helped reduce the stress of an already very stressful situation. I highly recommend staying hereon your next trip to upstate NY!

This is I believe our 4th year staying at Sheena’s place in Saugerties the same weekend in May for a hockey tournament. The space is walking distance to town and the rink so we can enjoy the nightlife. The place is always immaculate, with fresh lilacs on table, water tea and coffee available for the morning. Bonus washer and dryer especially helpful during the hockey tournament. Sheen is always super responsive and flexible during our stays. Highly recommend Sheena’s place.

I hope John will rename the place “The Cow House”. We enjoyed watching the cows every morning over coffee as they work their way across the property. While I love the windows to see the magnificent scenery (including cows) I wish there was a curtain option upstairs - 05:00 sunrise can be rough. The hot tub was fantastic and we got a chance to be in with the evening mist at dusk. We really enjoyed our time.

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy's place. The house was clean, comfortable, modern and had everything we needed. Our kids loved running around the grounds and exploring the nearby stream. Very easy access into Chatham and the surrounding town. Lucy and her husband Sean (and their dog Timber) were super friendly and hospitable. We'd definitely stay there again!

This is our 2nd time at Marta's place. We returned because the location and accessibility is perfect. Everything is as stated in the post and Marta is a very responsive and friendly host. We will be back!!

It was a peaceful place to stay when visiting Salem. We held a mountain bike race for high school and middle school riders, and our venue was only 15 minutes away. It was nice to hang our hats at the end of the day at Jennifer's place. We will be back next year!
