Gabriel place is amazing. very beautiful lake front cottage, she has maintained it very well we had kids of different ages in our group everyone from senior to children enjoyed it, we will definitely come back and Gabriel as a host is super caring. thank you

It's a lovely place, very clean and spacious, designed in excellent taste. It's a little too rural, so we had issues with wifi connection several times. on the other hand, David was very attentive and available and solved the problems quickly. It would have been nice to have more clarity about on site boating options. we weren't sure we have access to the deck without disturbing others, and whether there are boats/canoes available. All in all - a lovely place, very nice owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We did it all - swimming off the dock, warming up in the hot tub, going out on the canoe, kayak and paddle boards, movie night on the big couch. And FYI for any fishing lovers, we caught lots off the dock, even a couple pike!! You truly can’t go wrong with this lovely cottage.

We rented Nikhil's place for my wife and I and my 2 son's families while we were in town to hold a celebration of life for my parents. The place was a great accommodaion and met all our needs. The 2 living spaces gave lots of room for us to spread out. The room overlooking the bay was bright with so many windows. We wish the weather was more favorable to be able to enjoy the outdoor space, it looked like it would have been a treat. Everything was clean and well stocked...we lacked for nothing. Highly recommended!

The cottage was the perfect place for our annual girlfriend's weekend. Drove up to James St each day for shopping and dining with ease. Took the boat tour of the islands with the stop at Boldt Castle. The house was ideal. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, SUPER CLEAN!! Adorable decor. A relaxing night after the boat ended with a quick dip in the hot tub. I cannot tell you enough how clean the cottage was. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, including Coffee and tea that Ryan left for us, along with a bag of goodies to make S'Mores. Thank you for some wonderful memories!

Jillian was an absolute rock show of a host ! She was friendly , very thorough and followed through with everything she said she would ! I highly recommend this place to stay !

Highly recommended! This was a fantastic cottage for a family gathering. The layout supports a mix of families with its generous arrangement of rooms and beds. The den with pool and foosball tables was extremely popular and the ping pong table in the gym/studio was also a hit. There were plenty of separate sitting areas so that different groups could find their own spaces - or gather all together. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for a winter stay. The cottage had one of the best kitchens I've seen for a large group - the double oven and two fridges made it easy to cook for all 16 of us and there were plenty of plates, utensils and cooking implements. It was extremely well stocked with all the basics including some cereal and coffee which were a huge hit with early risers. I can only imagine how wonderful this cottage would be in the summer as we had a great time here in the midst of winter and never ran out of things to do. Maria is an excellent host and extremely responsive.

We (couple, mid 40s) travel twice or three times a year and generally stay in holiday homes and we have never been in a house that comfortable, homely and tastefully decorated. The garden and lakeshore are just beautiful and calm and we would have loved to stay even longer. The house was equiped with everything we could think of and the communication with Robert and Kirsten was perfect. We hope to come back.

Wonderful place. Only complaint was parking. But we absolutely positively recommend this place.

We highly recommend Dylan’s idyllic lakefront place as it allowed us to enjoy a thoroughly relaxed Memorial day weekend with our adult children. While the well equipped kitchen, ample games and TVs with streaming enabled us to perfectly enjoy indoor activities when it was raining, the choice of spectacular, tranquil views and kayaking on the water was too irresistible to stay in for too long. Thank you Dylan for recommending local activities/places to explore. Hiking in Rock Dunder was truly amazing, and the Rideau canal locks were interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor grill and bug free option to enjoy the patio. The home is perfect for a family or group that doesn’t mind sharing one bathroom. Would love to visit again, especially knowing that Dylan may be adding improved space/bathroom to his home.

Absolutely gorgeous view in a beautiful and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed fishing throughout the area and ending the day with a stunning sunset. We hope to visit again soon!

For the third summer in a row, our stay at the cottage did not disappoint! As expected, Barbara and her team were wonderful hosts, the house was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and of course after coming back for a third year, we certainly did feel right at home. With two adolescent/teenaged kids with busy summer schedules, a week of peaceful quiet, family game night every night and beautiful sunsets is exactly what we all need to recharge!

It is a wonderful place and Kyle was always responsive with very good detailed instructions. The house was very clean and organized. Would like to stay again sometime in the future when we could enjoy the lake and some swimming.

I was lucky to come to Isabelle’s place for a family getaway. It was the perfect place for relaxing - it feels very remote and quiet, with tons of cute deer to watch in the evenings, a nice dock for watching the sunset, and a very cozy living space. The ferry rides were also a fun little experience. I was surprised at how many supplies they had stocked the kitchen with, enough for us to try complicated recipes. The latte machine (with milk frother) and complimentary coffee was also a huge bonus! Isabelle was always quick to reply and very helpful when we had any questions, before and during our stay. Definitely hoping to come back soon. Would highly recommend for a secluded and peaceful stay.

To rate this place five stars is low this deserved ten stars. The place is beyond clean. Actually one of the cleanest ones I have been too. Everything you needed was there down to laundry soap and dryer sheets to wash your clothes. The backyard is private. Enough parking for your cars. Truly loved this place. Cozy!!

Super easy check-in process. We arrived much later than planned, took a bit to figure out the parking situation but once we figured out where we were supposed to be the rest of the stay went very smoothly. Fantastic location, very peaceful, if it had been a little less windy that weekend we would have totally started a fire in the fire pit and sat by the water to enjoy the view. The cabin itself is very cozy, in a good way; efficient kitchen (not exactly set up to cook a full dinner but plenty fine for breakfast, though you wouldn't want to with Mimi's place not even 10 minutes away). One thing to note, the shower head is pretty low (I am under 6' and had to bend down a bit to get my head wet; on the plus side, I finally know how tall people feel!). Cabin had two full size beds, not ideal for a family but it worked out with the little one slept on the couch. Wifi was reliable for the most part, signal did drop sporadically. Overall, awesome place, will stay again.

We stayed at Luisa’s place for just under a week to celebrate my daughter graduating from Queen’s. We figured it would be nicer to stay in a hour than in a hotel and we weren’t wrong! The location of Luiza’s place is unbelievably beautiful. The lake is calm and secluded and surrounded by forest. The property is set up gorgeously and well maintained. Where-ever you are on the property you’re met with stunning views. Inside we enjoyed a fantastic kitchen that was well stocked as well as an open living space that allowed us to gather. The heated bathroom floors were a great touch. Quick disclaimer (that did not bother us at all, but for future travelers): Luiza isn’t kidding when she says its cliff side! Keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. Thank you for opening your lovely home for us for such a special occasion.

Wonderful week out on the river! Beautiful waterfront property, well taken care of, clean and modern inside cottage. Screened in porch was perfect for the cooler weather to snuggle up with a good book.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne's place. The stairs are very steep, but the handrail is very sturdy. We had everything we needed. We loved all the beautiful decor and how the old house has been redone to become this beauty. The beds were super comfortable and the house was able to fit all 6 of us comfortably for 5 days. We appreciated the availability of the kayaks and the close proximity to the pond where the water is super calm for beginner kayakers. Anne was quick to respond to any questions we had. The driveway is big enough for 3-4 vehicles. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your absolutely stunning home!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The place was cozy, clean, and well-located — which made exploring the area really convenient. The host was very friendly and responsive, from the booking till check out all instructed well, which I appreciated. Communication was smooth, and check-in was easy. 💬👍everything was as per picture inside clean, neat and bedding and amenities. Open kitchen and all utensils and appliances ready to use. Bathroom was clean and good water supply and drinking water was provided. However, there were two issues that affected my experience: 📶 The Wi-Fi didn’t work during my stay, which was a inconvenience as we are online working people. 🔒 A secure door lock was an absolute necessity, and while there was a lock, it didn’t feel as secure as it should have for peace of mind. With those improvements, this place would be a great option. Thanks to the host for their hospitality — I hope these details help future guests!

Staying here was an amazing experience from the time we arrived, until the time we left. Chris, Melissa and Betsy always responded to my questions and went above and beyond the call of duty meeting and exceeding our needs. The place is cozy and comfortable. The views from the living room are amazing and we don't normally bring our dogs with us, but since the dog sitter fell through, we had to bring them. We were concerned about how they would acclimate and it only took a few minutes before they knew they were home! I was stunned. They had some nice touches like a huge Keurig with the pod and coffee maker, coffee filters, sugar, half & half, Dunkin' (Dunkaine') ground coffee and a water cooler. DG Market is only eight minutes away, so grocery shopping was easy, and Sackets Harbor is a quick drive away If you want to get away from it all (but still have cable and wifi of course), recharge the batteries, get some R&R, I HIGHLY recommend staying here. We look forward to coming back soon.

This is a great little beach cabin with miles and miles of walkable beach right out the door. This location is a perfect place to unwind, relax in the hammock, listen to the waves, read a book, and enjoy a beautiful sunset around a campfire. We’ve stayed here a couple times now and won’t hesitate to book again.

Absolutely love this little retreat! Peaceful, cozy and relaxing. Nice getaway with nature.
