If you want a place where you can walk right to the beach in a minute, you found it here! My wife, 1 year old girl, and I stayed here for 1 week in the beginning of June and it was the best decision to come here! It was extremely affordable, right next to the beach, a clean, homey space with just enough room for all of us to be comfortable! Genuinely a great place to be, the restaurants around are so close, the area consists of many similar little houses, but everyone there is so friendly and neighborly, and inside it's quite soundproof. The kitchen was perfect for my wife to make some delicious dishes, the bed and couch were comfortable and cozy, the TV had everything we wanted and more, the bathroom was perfect even for an energetic splashy little baby, and the host, Anthony, is very responsive, understanding, and kind! My favorite part is the combination between affordable and located perfectly, we could wake up and walk to the beach in a minute every morning no hassle, 10/10!!!

We had an incredible stay at Sarah’s place! It is close to everything and was exactly as described. Sarah was also super responsive and had great recommendations which we referenced throughout our trip! Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Another fantastic Spring Break at the Best Box! The nicest, cleanest, most relaxing rental we’ve ever found. Didn’t think the property could be any better than it was last year, but the owners have managed to make many creative and thoughtful upgrades. Enjoyed days at the beach, days on the sound, chartered a boat for fishing, ate tons of seafood, and saw the best sunsets right from the deck. Literally took advantage of everything in this house - from crabbing to fishing to baggo to flying kites to playing board games to darts and foosball. Oh and kayaking, relaxing in the hammock, and tubing, too.

If you are looking for a small place to just get away by yourself for a week I recommend this place. You can sit out on the balcony and watch the sunrise and drink your coffee. I personally loved that there was a nice breeze all the time and the view was amazing. It is great having a full kitchen and the ability to do laundry.

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

The Best Nest was better than imagined! The place, location and hosts were excellent! Chuck & Donna are very personable, accommodating, and respectful of your private stay. The walk to the beach, the restaurants & shops was short and peaceful. We would love to continue to stay here during our stays in Hatteras.

This little room was very comfy for a short, budget stay close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Wanda, the property manager, was very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for local dining and convenient for minor setbacks, such as a lock that malfunctioned during our stay. The room was as described. A hair dryer and additional blankets were a nice convenience. The room is directly beside the sun porch with plenty of seating for the building. A beach where people fish from the shore is within a very short walking distance. There are several local restaurants with delicious food nearby, such as the Tavern on 12, Frisco Sandwich Company, and The Buxton Munch. The room is only about 20 minutes from the ferry from Hattaras to Ocracoke, which is a really nice little day trip. Overall we had a great stay!

Warblers Way Guest Suite Hatteras Village

We absolutely loved our stay at Warblers Way! We’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnb’s and without question, it’s the nicest. We were drawn to the privacy, closeness to the beach and restaurants. We love that they didn’t treat their Airbnb as a second thought with cheaper building materials. First class all the way and would highly recommend Warblers Way if you’re looking to visit the OBX!!
