Place was great, thanks again for having us.

The cottage was wonderful. Very charming eclectic decor. furniture was very comfortable. It had everything I needed. the kitchen in particular was very well stocked. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need as far as dishes, utensils, pots/pans and ice trays. Drip Coffee maker and a Keurig. there is NO dishwasher, which I didn't mind. It is located on the beach but you do not have a beach view as the cottage sits right behind a dune, next to the public beach access. You can definitely hear people talking in the parking lot and they start arriving at 6:00 a.m. Be prepared to be awakened that early. the back deck is nice and has furniture and a covered chest with beach items to enjoy. There is a hot and cold shower to wash off the sand before you go in the house. I loved that! This would be considered a tiny house and the bathroom is TINY. The TV is small and has standard channels. there is no DVD player. I loved my stay here and will be back!

It was a great location. The home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. The beds were comfortable.

Excellent place to stay while in town for a golf trip. Plenty of room, and a very charming cottage. Was extremely clean and well kept. The owners were extremely responsive, proactive and overall excellent to work with!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Silent Waters, and we were truly inpressed by the cleanliness and beauty of this house. We recommend highly .

We've been renting houses in NC pretty much every year for 45 years, this house was by far the nicest. Very well decorated, clean and the hosts were great.

Staying at Hope's place is like staying at the home of a friend than staying in a hotel. Everything is warm and inviting. It is not perfect but neither is my home. The neighborhood is terrific, downtown is a treat to discover and it is an easy place to sit with family and relax. Perfect for a vacation. We don't go to Asheboro often but, if we do, this is the place we want to stay.

This was our First time to New Bern. We wanted to experience the charm as well as history. It had to start with where we stayed and let me tell you, this listing did NOT disappoint. Literally walking distance from town as well as from all the major 'site see/to-do's' New Bern has to offer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

If you have kids that love to swim this is the place !! The resort had everything thing u needed !!!! Hot tubs and pools where very clean and staff was very helpful at all times !!! Me and family are looking forward to coming again but in summwr this go round !!!

I would love to stay here again, I felt so peaceful watching the water as I had ocean front . I also felt so comfortable & at home ! Thank you for having me stay ! A truly accessible Airbnb! I was traveling with a family member in a larger electric wheelchair, and she was able to comfortably stay here. This place looks exactly like the pictures, but it has more natural light in person.

The location was perfect— very close to the boardwalk and the beach. As a true blanket lover, I was thrilled with the variety of cozy blankets available. It made curling up on the couch feel just like home. Check-in was a breeze, and I had no complaints at all. Highly recommend!

The condo was absolutely as shown in the photos and very clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely rent again.

What a great last minute find !! We had our two little boys and there room was safe, cozy and so clean . Hop skip and one jump from the beach. The host were clean in their instructions and available with some minor questions I had. Can’t wait to do it again

Our family enjoyed our stay so much! The view was STUNNING and the room was clean and so neat! Being so close to the beach was absolutely perfect!!! We had plenty of room for our family of four and we plan on coming back and staying here again! It truly was an amazing vacation and we were so thankful for our home away from home :)

Great place amazing how peaceful it was with having a bridge along the size well build well taken care of I wouldn’t add anything beside a small vending machine because I left my tooth brush 😂🤷🏾‍♂️ but other then that great place I went to the store also fyi

Where do I begin? The place was just as described, so perfectly clean and had all the amenities mentioned and more! Very spacious and the host was super quick to reply to our needs, the communication was spot on. There's a lot to do around the area and it's very peaceful as well, great for vacation or a weekend getaway. My friends and I stayed there for 5 months (due to a work project) and we never had any problems at all and when we did run into small issues the host will addressed them immediately. Would definitely love to book again with Barret and 100% recommend.
