The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. You even have your own laundry in unit, a desk and 2 TV’s to stream most anything you could want to. It was perfect for me. Travis is a good host and makes everything super simple, which is welcoming to see!

You cannot beat the location of this condo! We were able to leave our car parked in the deck for the entirety of our stay and walk everywhere in downtown. The amenities were a bit sparse, but the bed was quite comfy. The balcony was absolute perfection! We ate most of our meals out on the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The bathroom was especially clean and nicely updated. My family and I were in town for a wedding in Wilmington, which was just a short 15–18 minute drive away. The area also has plenty of parks and restaurants nearby, making it a great spot for a relaxing visit. Edie was very kind and communicative. Although we didn’t need anything during our stay, I felt confident that she would’ve responded quickly if we had reached out.

Whimsical Western Eclectic Art Deco- Paula and John have designed a new genre. Whether you want to treasure hunt for design details or relax in multiple comfy spots they have conjured, this place is a delight. The bed is a magic cloud. I now have to buy all new pillows. My only complaint is we could not stay longer. If we ever have the opportunity to be in this area again, we will stay here! Thank you Paula and John!

The perfect getaway approximately 20 minutes away from the riverwalk. The room was spacious and clean with the decor making you feel you were right by the beach. Great A/C unit, shower, and comfortable bed! Overall, I would absolutely recommend and would love to come again. Wouldn’t want to stay in another Airbnb in Wilmington!
