Villa Mazuca, disconnect 8 min close to Somo beach

MargareteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
There was nothing to complain about for us. A beautiful house in a quiet and better residential area. The central location to the beach and the town center is great. We received a lot of information from Maria in advance and everything went wonderfully at the reception. We stayed there for 2 weeks and since the weather was changeable, the big house was great. The garden with the old trees provides shade and the evening sun is nice for a sundowner. Our dog also felt very comfortable on the fully fenced grounds. So if you want to come to this corner with a dog - or children, because the cellar is full of children's toys - you're in the right place. Thank you, dear Maria, for having us in your home.

The house on the river

ZuriñeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ * Perfect stay in a dream setting * The cottage is simply beautiful: cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. Definitely a place we'll go back to. Thank you for everything David! --- Do you also want a shorter version to leave as a quick review on Google or Booking?

Comfort in a very quiet village

GuillermoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A very nice and comfortable house for a small family. We were very comfortable for three days, the house has the essentials so you don't miss anything in your stay. It is in a quiet area, you have to move about 8 min for super and places to eat. The house shares part of the jardin, but it has a trocito vallado por sias carry chuchos. In general I would recommend the stay if you want to move around the area, Cabarceno and Santander are about 20 min away.

The Essence

LuciaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We just got back from spending 3 wonderful days in this fantastic accommodation that looks like it's out of a fairy tale! The first thing to highlight is Ana's close and affectionate treatment. The truth is that from minute 1 she was available and attentive to everything we could possibly need to make us feel at home! And what can I say about his house... decorated with exquisite taste, in a very quiet village that invites you to disconnect, it makes you live a magnificent experience that you will not forget! We were traveling with a 1-month-old baby and everything was easy, he took care of leaving us a crib ready, bathtub... Also note the location of the village, ideal for visiting many places of interest in Cantabria, as it is just minutes from cities such as Santander! Definitely a 10!! I wish I could come back again!

Beautiful cottage

Natalia BelenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Iganacio and María Jesús were very accommodating. They gave us detailed directions to the village. The house is super cozy, it has everything you need to have a comfortable stay, the wood from the stove is provided by Ignacio, without ever missing it. In the village there are no markets, so bring what you need to eat. 2 km down there is a bar where you can eat. The mountain route does not generate any inconvenience to get to the house. The surroundings of the village are unbeatable, nature to the full! Undoubtedly, the hosts, the house and the village are to recommend to those looking to spend a few days disconnecting.

Apartment next to the beach in Comillas

MartaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It's been a great stay. The flat was clean and tidy. They had the detail to turn the heating on us before arriving which was appreciated because it was very cold on the street, in addition the sheets were winter and there were blankets for the sofa. Regarding the location, it is a very quiet urbanization on the outskirts but very close to the urban nucleus, even for walking. Very good communication, at all times she was aware of us and made very good recommendations. If we were to return to Comillas we would definitely repeat with Luis, it was a pleasure!!

Charming House in Northern Spain

CarolRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were 11 in the family, 6 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 girl. We all loved the house, garden, porch and patio. There was room for everyone, and for all activities. Juan Jose was very attentive to us, and the truth is that there was no problem with the house, its facilities, and its equipment. The antique furniture was beautiful and interesting, especially the sink in the master bedroom bathroom. We liked it so much that we will surely stay at La Casa de las Palmeras again. Many thanks to Juan Jose and Virginia.
The stone house features a covered porch space with wooden furniture, framed by large windows. Surrounding greenery provides a natural setting, and a tree offers shade in the front yard. Steps lead from the porch to the grassy area, enhancing the connection to the outdoors.

The Stone House by Fidalsa

MartaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We felt like a very cozy house, useful and ideal for so many people. The cleanliness was spotless. It has more than enough crockery, towels and cleaning products for the stay. Something we would have liked to know is that I had a BBQ option, it was not specified. A very quiet, pleasant and beautiful area. To do the chekin and the guest registration we were forced to leave the Airbnb page and that creates a bit of insecurity, but it's totally safe. What we didn't like was that checkout was so early and the amount to pay for the delay was high. For the rest it was a place to stay of 10. The response from the "tenants" through the app was very fast.

Nice and cosy apartment in the complex. Easy to find and very good communication with the Host. The only disadvantage was the lack of mobile network and the WIFI connection was very unstable. If this is not mandatory for your stay I can highly recommend staying there for a few days to chill and explore the surroundings :)

Villa San Pelayo. Potes (5 Km). Picos de Europa

IanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Just perfect as a centre for walking in the Picos. The village is tiny, just a hamlet, but less than 5km from Potes (restaurants, shops). The house is huge, each bedroom is lovely and spacious, beds are comfortable, windows open to amazing views of the mountains and hills. The outside space is equally amazing, beautiful lawn to sunbathe on, huge verandah to BBQ on, plenty of parking. The kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms all have bath with shower over, there's a utility room with machines etc. WiFi was quick and supported 4 of us all browsing/streaming at the same time. Absolutely recommend - we were genuinely sad to leave
