Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Canmore

Albert and Annie were great hosts. They were very helpful and communicated well with us and gave us many recommendations. Location was perfect to get around Canmore. If you have mobility issues, know that there are many stairs to get to the unit and stairs inside the unit to get to the kitchen/ living room area. Overall, we had a great week!

Our active family of four stayed in this great townhome. There are beautiful views of the mountains in the upstairs living, kitchen & dining area. Everything is well maintained and the kitchen was equipped with all the needed cooking essentials to cook in and the pans and knives are in good condition. The beds and bedding are also comfortable. Location is short & safe walk right into downtown Canmore. There are also nearby coffee shop’s & bakeries to grab a quick morning coffee and treat. The bedrooms and bathrooms and a living area are located on the second floor and on the third floor is the kitchen and living so it’s convenient if your group wants to watch two different shows etc. the layout works great. We would definitely come back.

Nice place to stay. Easy to find the please. Lots of amenities close by! Great bedrooms that slept eight comfortably! The beds were very comfortable! Big kitchen which was well stocked. We only need a place to eat and sleep as we were outside enjoying the mountain air.

Such a great place to stay- clean and great amenities. Very comfortable beds! Walked to town. Ate at The Wood, Rocky Mountain Bagel Co and the pub at the Georgetown Inn. We also ordered out from Thai House across the street- so convenient. The view from the deck is beautiful!

Tracie was a great host - she was helpful with getting in late and finding the place in the dark, she checked in right away through the app to make sure everything was as expected and offered to answer any questions, and she was responsive when I did have a question. The place was perfect, walking distance to a lot of places, beautiful sitting on the patio/deck, and the beds were SO COMFY! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay — great place, convenient location, and good value for the price. Unfortunately, the elevator wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. There were also some issues with the bed — some boards kept falling out from underneath. Hopefully, the owners will fix this soon so everything is perfect for future guests. Thank you!

Great cozy stay. Large sectional and great for our 2 kids to sleep on. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were great. In unit washer/dryer was much needed and appreciated for our family. Perfect location too- walkable to downtown and just a 20’ drive to Banff where we went every morning. Would just mention for future guests that the fitness room was very dusty, hot, and had old equipment, probably not maintained well. I didn’t use it during our stay, however I enjoyed a jog outdoors with the beautiful mountains in the background. Thanks for a great stay!

Super responsive hosts that were very patient with me coming in exhausted with kids. Great location, super easy to get anywhere. Nice list of recommendations on the wall for local food. The kids made some friends at the pool. I made some friends in the hot tub. It was a good time. Exactly what we needed for our stay :)

The view is spectacular, especially on a cloudy day when you can see a storm coming in! Patio has all sorts of sun late in the day for those warmth lovers. Place is tidy and clean, and the kitchen is stocked with all the items you need. Thanks for thinking of everything!!

I had a wonderful stay at Kim’s in Dead Man’s flat! This quiet, peaceful and private stay is only minutes from Canmore. Everything was exactly as pictured and very clean. Highly recommend to anybody visiting Canmore/Banff. It’s worth the few added minutes to your road trip!

This is a beautiful home! Check in was so easy, there were clear instructions to get in, parking available, all you can think of. An information binder is in the space with plenty of detailed recommendations. So much is in walking distance. Every detail in the home was so well thought out. A lovely unit in a quiet lodge with a beautiful view from the balcony! The shower is great and spa like. The unit has all the amenities for your stay. Quick ride or nice walk into town for food/bars. Tina and Steve were very proactive/communicative. Would recommend you visit!

Beautiful, clean, cozy, nice hosts. My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful place and surrounding, the policeman trail it’s right next to and it was beautiful to walk to the downtown. Also the kitchen was very equipped to make some tasty food.

Teryn & Alex were the best hosts! The place was great - super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. A book full of local recommendations too for walks, activities and places to eat. Super easy to find and get to, lovely views of the three sisters from the balcony. 10/10 we will stay again if we’re in the area. Thanks so much Teryn & Alex!

The accommodations exceeded our expectations. There was even laundry pods available so being able to do a quick load of laundry mid-travels was a nice perk. Having the 2nd bed in another room was great for sleeping apart from our toddler too (much needed break). Was a lovely stay in Canmore, highly recommend!! Don’t forget to take a peak at the three sisters from the balcony ;)

We really enjoyed Emma and Josh’s rental! It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Banff and Canmore. The space is clean and nice and centrally located with some restaurants, a market and coffee shop within walking distance. Everything was easy to follow and well-communicated. Great kitchen and nice cooking supplies. The only thing to note is that there isn’t a coffee grinder and the coffee in the condo wasn’t great, but the good news is that there’s a market close by and you can buy some locally roasted ground coffee!
