Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Canadian Rockies

We loved having two separate bedrooms with dining in the middle. The deck was nice with forest views while the front window peeked out at the water. The creek next door was running full capacity which was great for a good night's sleep. Marsha even made us a fresh rhubarb pie when we returned from Ainsworth Hot Springs next door. Great place for the money!

I had a fantastic stay, clean place, great location if you're looking to explore Cawston and the South Okanagan. Really large fenced yard for the pup to explore.

Our stay at Drew's cabin was great! The description was accurate and we brought all the gear we needed - sleeping bags, drinking water, etc. Probably could have brought our air mattresses to add some cushioning on the futon, but it wasn't absolutely necessary. Drew was friendly and communicative and brought us firewood for outside the wood stove. The bathroom was clean and had enough running water for washing up and cleaning. We didn't try the shower as it was too cold out. We luckily had no neighbours due to cancellations, so it was perfectly quiet and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the sun. The place is pet friendly and our pup had a great time off leash roaming around. If you are looking for a secluded getaway that is a step up from tenting, this is it. We will definitely be back again!

Went to a hockey game and it couldn’t have been better location. Crossed the street and was in the game in 5 minutes. The place has incredible views and was very clean. We used the pool and sauna in the next building which was an about a hundred feet away. The only downside was hearing the train in the morning but other than that everything was great

I had a wonderful stay at Kelly’s Airbnb! The place was incredibly clean and spacious, and the free parking was a huge plus. It was also conveniently close to downtown, which made exploring the area super easy. Kelly was an amazing host, always responsive and helpful.

Great place just outside of town. Not too far of a drive from anything. Quiet neighbourhood with a great view of the inlet! The place was nice and clean and Sydney was very welcoming and very helpful with anything. Would stay here again!

Had a great stay at Melissa and Amanda’s condo with my family. Unit was well stocked with kitchen appliances, towels and beach gear. Everything was very clean including the floor which was appreciated as we had a baby with us. Beds were super comfy and view from the condo is beautiful.

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

We loved our stay. There were five of us (adults) and it served us so well. It was a sweet place to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very functional, the BBQ got some great use. And we felt supported by the hosts, they were very responsive to any questions or needs.

Stephanie was super responsive. If anything her description undersold how nice this place was. We had a great three nights there!

Bnbsy’s home was an awesome getaway for my student group’s National Exposition. After checking in, we immediately felt we were a home away from home, as the house was spotless and the host was extremely accommodating offering snacks and local recommendations. The host communicates very fast to any concerns we had, and we were always reassured if any problems arose. This was one of the most hospitable stays we had as a group so far, and we would definitely come back here if we’re in Calgary again!

After 2 weeks of travelling the island, Shirley’s stay was just what we needed. Very relaxing and cozy. Would highly recommend !

My stay was absolutely lovely. The host, Helen was incredibly friendly, respectful, and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for check-in and check-out. Communication was excellent, very responsive and always quick to answer any questions I had. The place itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a warm, homy feel that made it easy to relax and feel comfortable right away. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful touches throughout the space. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Bobbi’s suite is comfortable, conveniently located, and she’s a great host. Our second stay was as pleasant as the first. We’ve found our home away from home while in town.

Words cannot describe the view! And the beauty of this AirBNB is beyond compare. We had gloomy weather but it was still so beautiful listening to the sound of the rain and watching the clouds roll through the valley. Christine was a wonderful host: Even suprised us with balloons and flowers for our honeymoon (3years later due to Covid), it really made us feel special. Quick communication and care of making sure we enjoyed our stay. And that hot tub!!!! We really hope to be back. Thank you again

This is an amazing place. It’s spacious for two but cozy at the same time. The apartment gas a great vibe and is nicely furnished. Plus, the bed is super comfortable too. Marian was always super responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood. There are great restaurants and cafes very close by. We felt perfectly safe in the apartment and surrounding area (we are from a big city, so we’re quite used to neighbourhoods like Gastown).

Very easy to get along with

I put a lot of thought into finding the right place before coming to Vancouver. While many people prefer staying downtown, I prioritized comfort, safety, and peace of mind. That’s why I chose this place, and it turned out to be the best decision. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, the room is clean and cozy, and it has everything I needed—TV, desk, and more. But what truly made my stay special were the amazing hosts, Billy and Justin. They were incredibly kind and made me feel at home from day one. Thanks to them, I quickly felt settled and comfortable, even though I was in a new country. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep well in a new place, but the bed was so comfortable and the atmosphere so calm that I had no trouble at all. I originally chose this place because of the great reviews, and now I can say, they were right. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you so much. Being here made me truly happy, all because of you. Billy and Justin! :)

Can’t beat the location on this one. Older building but seems well maintained and had everything we needed for a 3 night trip.

This apartment has been very instrumental to our happiness in visiting Vancouver for a week. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good shower. We really enjoyed the very sunny terrace. All of Vancouver is nearby.

Miso was amazing and this is an Airbnb that we would seek out to stay in again. It had everything we needed, the location was nice and easy to get around, and David was so communicative. The unit itself is a little smaller than we expected but it was arranged and decorated so tastefully that the size wasn't an issue whatsoever. It was absolutely beautiful inside and completely functional. Check-in and check-out were both extremely easy. This place was truly hassle-free. Thanks again to the hosts for a beautiful stay and exceptional communication!
