The Englishman's house

Thanks to the house's previous inhabitant, an endearing Englishman, we were able to make our project a reality: an old, charmingly restored house: one of the oldest houses in the town that we personally restored with great affection and in which we tried to maintain the original elements (wooden beams, staircase, stone arch) without losing any comfort. Its white color invites tranquility and reminds you how close it is to the sea.

The villa exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect home base for our group trip. The space was well-designed with plenty of room (and bathrooms) for everyone to spread out and have their privacy, while also featuring beautiful communal areas that brought us all together for meals and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, the secure parking gave us peace of mind, and the pool was gorgeous - we spent hours just lounging. Our host was incredibly warm and responsive - any questions we had were answered quickly and thoughtfully. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful retreat with a host who really cares about your experience!

The apartment was right in the middle of Sitges; close to cafes restaurants, shops, the beach & the train station was a 6 minute walk away. On the weekends be prepared to join in the fun until very late as the streets are very active! The washer/dryer & the wonderful balcony were a pleasant bonus. We had such a lovely time in this wonderful apartment.

The villa matches the photos perfectly. It is stunning and impeccably clean. The host is consistently responsive, helpful, and considerate. They provided a house manual that was incredibly useful, detailing how to operate every appliance in the villa and offering a list of recommendations for local bakeries, restaurants, and activities to enjoy. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Palmera and would love to return in the future.

I have enjoyed almost all the airbnb accommodations that I have booked over the years, but rarely have I found one "magical". Jenny's place seemed magical. Located on a small plaza immediately opening onto the beach, it was easy to find, and a wonderfully convenient location from which to walk and explore. The magic was in opening the front door and within the first few steps confronted by a living room with a large window looking out over the Mediterranean, with the sound of waves lapping against the shore and the sea breeze greeting us as we walked into the apartment. Everything else was fine, spacious, comfortable and "as advertised." If I should again be travelling along this part of the coast of Spain, I will be certain to book Jenny's place well in advance.
