We have just returned from a lovely stay at Sandrine & Stephan's beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed, having everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. It is in a quiet location set above Bugues, with stunning views. Sandrine was very friendly and gave us lots of advice and tips for visiting places in the area which was really appreciated. They also showed us their beautiful garden which was a really nice touch. We had a problem with the washing machine and Sandrine and Stephan immediately stepped in to sort it out and fitted a new one the next door which we really appreciated. Overall a lovely stay in fabulous accommodation. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic! We were worried the pictures looked too good to be true, but the property truly matches the pictures. Stunning place in an unbeatable location. Hire car is highly recommended. We spent our honeymoon here and we couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Thank you!

Enjoyed enormously. Beautiful apartment, cozy terrace and super swimming pool. Swimming pool was very clean, as well as the apartment. Communication with the owner is very fast and very friendly. Come up with tips in the area. Nearby, there is plenty to do and there is a market to visit somewhere within 40km every day. Sarlat, Le Bugue, Domme, Le Roque-Gageac, Chateau Castelnaud and Chateau des Milandes we definitely found worth visiting. In short, we definitely recommend this apartment.

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively checking if everything is to their liking, or inquiring if help is needed. Through the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozily furnished with attention to details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located relative to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction of Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim quietly, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also well worth it! Normally supermarkets are miles away but in this place there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

What a lovely place, had everything we needed and the jacuzzi was a lovely added bonus! So close to such beautiful villages and to Sarlat, would recommend!

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It's a really extraordinary, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. House and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to make the old train station a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We really enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could use the "rusty" French skills again. Thank you for everything!

A feel good experience! As a previous reviewer said, the property was hard to leave, from the great view down the valley from the elevated deck, to the super comfy, large bed. Without hesitation, would recommend it and the hosts’ hospitality. Diana & Derek

The apartment is simply stunning,as shown in the photos, and very spacious. Ingrid met us at check-in, providing us with details on the apartment, neighborhood and other recommendations throughout Bordeaux. We were able to leave the doors open to catch the cool breezes for several nights and closed the doors when the noise from the street became bothersome. The earplugs made the noisy nights peaceful. The location is easily walkable to all the sights to see in Bordeaux and is surrounded by any type of store or restaurant that you could want. We loved Bordeaux and would highly recommend this apartment!

A very personal, warm welcome to a fantastic retreat in a beautiful natural ambiance. The hosts did not miss anything and were always personally approachable and exceptionally helpful. Everything as described and the pool was fantastic. The surroundings offered many opportunities for chilling, sunbathing and grilling. We highly recommend this place. The only flaw in this paradise is the difficult access via stony field paths. We did it with a very cautious driving style.

From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home, great location in the heart of Serlat, perfect for two couples, plenty of room, any questions asked where answered straight away, we were even able to stay an extra night which was great. Only one critic ! The bathroom with bath would be good if we could gang the shower head up ? That is my only critic, as the bath is amazing 🙂

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful, medieval house in the heart of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Patricia is the most solicitous and generous host. I cannot recommend her studio highly enough.

This is a terrific base for exploring the Dordogne Valley. Everything about the unit is well thought out, it was sparkling clean, very comfortable and the host was lovely and very helpful. We did have trouble finding it and apparently google maps should be avoided. Waze is recommended instead. Eliette and her husband Yves were kind enough to come to where we had eventually parked the car and lead us to the apartment. It was a pleasure meeting them and don’t hesitate to book this studio apartment if your travels take you to Sarlat.

Great apartment right in the center of Sarlat's market area! It is very cozy and provides easy access to all the town has to offer. Parking was very convenient nearby as well.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! Apartment was so lovely and everything was brand new. The spa tub was *amazing* along with great extra touches like spa bathrobes. I stayed during an unusually hot few days in Toulouse and was concerned about the lack of air conditioning, but there was a powerful fan that kept me very cool. Would stay here again!!

We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again if ever in Bordeaux! Every detail was thought out in the apartment and you will want for nothing. I was beyond impressed with all the extra amenities they provided. Plus having a great AC unit in the 90+ degree weather was amazing!

Great welcome, small welcome gift, with all the basic necessities. Apartment ideally located for visiting the beautiful city of Albi. If the traffic is quite heavy during the day, it is very quiet at night. We recommend this apartment, not too far from the center and pretty villages nearby.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.
