Vacation rentals with a patio in California

Its a comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood. Kinda fun but not cramped architecture given you're just below the roof. Nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and a couch. I would stay here again

Location, both the island and apartment, is wonderful. View of the water. Close to restaurants. Our stay this May was peaceful. Host treated my spouse and I kindly. Super clean apartment. Advice: do the easy hike to Calvert Cliffs for fossils on beach. Visit the Annmarie sculpture garden and art center. It's a true gem.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Sitting on the dock and watching the sunset became a favorite past time. Mary was so kind to allow us to use her patio to have my son over for food and games. It was a truly lovely stay. More amenities than any place I'd been to before. My only note was that the curtains in the primary bedroom are just sheer cloth, so the sun comes in at 5 am to wake you up, but that can be remedied with a mask, and changing in the bathroom was fine for me. The view is mostly wooded, so I wasn't concerned much about people seeing in, but I wasn't comfortable changing at night with the light on. The other thing to note is that the bedroom door does not lock from the outside, and there is access to the downstairs apartment from the house upstairs. It did not bother me, I took my purse when I left and didn't have anything to lock up anyway. Honestly this is a 5 star place to stay, and the little things are just that.

Brittany’s waterfront home in Colonial Beach was a beautiful and peaceful retreat for me, my husband, and our 2 year old son. The space is beautiful and clean and offers lovely views of the sparkling water and beach just steps from the front door. We loved having beach days and visiting the pool, and nearby restaurants made it easy to grab lunch and dinner after a busy day in the sun. The in-unit washer and dryer made it easy to clean our swimsuits and stay on top of laundry, and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. The porch also provides a nice space to take in the views and the sounds of waves crashing in a private and peaceful retreat. We loved visiting Colonial Beach and would happily stay at Brittany’s home again!

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

Great place with fantastic views of the Potomac . Close to many dining options within walking distance. We went for a Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. I highly recommend.

it's exactly what the photos show. the stairs for the loft was a little steep but it was very comfortable and enough room for my family.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this spacious, new apartment with waterfront view. Check-in was a breeze and host communication was great. Location is ideal, right next to the sand and restaurants. Note that a nearby bar does have live music until about 10pm-11pm, but the bedroom is thoughtfully equipped with a sound machine, and it never bothered us. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. One small thing that would make the place even better: if there were beach towels, a pair of simple beach chairs and a beach umbrella. This equipment would mean that guests would not have to bring this from home or buy. This is a fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again.

Patrick and Celine's home was everything they said: Beautiful views! Very clean and comfortable and cozy inviting and even had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. Had everything you could need in kitchen and bathrooms very clean comfortable home. The grand-kids both stayed in the room with the bunk-beds. They enjoyed the space and comfort of the beds. All the rooms and beds were comfortable. The house was so cute, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outside amenities, being that it is December. Everything is just as pictured on-line maybe even better in person. The hosts were very communicative, we never had any issues. We had a great holiday time and would love to be able to return sometime. We would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Presley Creek! The house was clean and comfortable. The porch and with the ceiling fans was delightful! The kitchen had everything you’d need for preparing meals. The location was so peaceful. The property was huge and felt so private & secluded with woods and the water. We enjoyed the wildlife; geese, eagles, herons, otters. We brought our dogs, and they loved running and swimming! We brought all our food with us since we knew stores were not close. Also, if you want a beach, we found a little beach not too far called Vir-Mar, which has a very small public beach. Hughlett Point which is a bit farther is larger but very limited parking. If you are looking for a laid back vibe, I highly recommend this property!

We had a great stay here. Beautiful views of the water. Hosts were quick to respond. Good WiFi. Large deck with teak table and weber grill. Easy walk to water access. The waterfront is the best I’ve seen on the Bay. Sandy with shady and sunny spots against the cliffs. From the water access, you can walk in one direction to the limestone cliffs for shark tooth hunting. The other direction goes all the way to the marina. We hope to stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this perfect River House. The place was warm and comforting, with some of the most amazing views you can find. We arrived shortly after check in time, and easily let ourselves in with the lock box code & key. Everything inside looked just like the pictures, and we weren't disappointed! If you're looking for some beautiful river views, right on the water, with your own private water access and dock, this is the place for you. We were in town for a wedding a few houses down, and this place couldn't have been any better for us. We were able to walk to & from, which was a huge bonus for after the reception...Cheers :) We enjoyed eating out a couple times in town, and really liked Brick Wood Fired Bistro & Traders Seafood Steak & Ale. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful river stay, and will surely return someday in the future! Thanks for your hospitality!

Our third year of staying at Jennifer’s cottage and studio. A lovely location for a beach weekend with our family and grandchildren. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, the cottage having a full kitchen and large sunny deck with BBQ. The studio is cozy and perfect for a couple. The community beach is a 2 minute walk, quiet and safe for young swimmers. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or use the kayaks ( too busy with little kids!) but maybe next year!

If you're looking for some simple, quiet time at the shore, Tim's place is for you. The house is comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a lovely family weekend. There's a convenient spot in the backyard to launch kayaks. Two decks and a dock provide several options to sit outside and enjoy the view - including beautiful sunsets! Our dogs love to swim and really enjoyed the water. The neighborhood is quiet making for pleasant and scenic walks. We hope to return for a second stay later this summer.

We had a lovely stay in Shark Tooth Cottage! We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Even things we didn’t expect like beach towels, toys and chairs. We will definitely be back for more beach treasures!

Condo was in a perfect location in North Beach area. Loved walking boardwalk and walked 5+ miles daily. Felt very safe in the area, everyone was so friendly. Mexican restaurant and Baia were fantastic. Very peaceful. Condo definitely worth the money. Host was very responsive and let us check in early and was quick to reply to any text questions. Loved the view!

Brandon’s home was as beautiful as the pictures. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything in the town. The pool and rooftop patio were an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, and the house easily accommodated our group of 8. We will be back!

Excellent place to stay for a week's travel in Washington DC. What a beautiful and peaceful area with the Italian restaurant nearby. highly recommended.
