We appreciated the beautiful space and especially the coffee pods provided ;) The support of a local gallery is a wonderful touch and we liked the paintings on display. Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

We had a great stay in Monica's space! It was comfortable, cozy, and quiet, and the kitchen and bathrooms especially had a thoughtful selection of items you might need while on a trip. When we needed something during our stay, Monica was proactive and helpful. She's also kind and friendly, and she communicated with us while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. The home itself is walking distance to the downtown area, and it was great to be able to explore the cute shops on foot. We really felt the hospitality and would stay again!

What a beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place! We absolutely loved our short stay at the farmhouse - comfortable, bright, full of inspiring art, and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay, plus little touches that made it all the better, from soft blankets to wrap up in on the porch, to the cinnamon buns, croissants, and eggs from the farm's very own chickens. A peaceful atmosphere surrounded by woods and wildflowers, but just a few minutes from shops and restos in Wakefield, and a short drive from Ottawa-Gatineau. Also: bonus friendly farm cats that kept us company! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely place with us, we would love to come back.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. An Absolutely Amazing Stay with Superb Hosts! Our recent stay at this Lake Front Chalet, was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we booked, the hosts were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and proactive, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Reading the reviews beforehand definitely helped us envision and prepare for the property. The layout of the home was absolutely great, offering a wonderful flow throughout. All the rooms are very large, providing ample space and comfort for everyone. The amenities provided were fantastic, adding so much to our enjoyment. We especially loved the huge open-concept design with the large windows, which created such an inviting and bright atmosphere. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a superb getaway. Thank you to our hosts for such an amazing experience!

We are a family of nine and spent three nights here for a family celebration in March. We had a wonderful time. It is a lovely peaceful spot. There was lots of room for all of us. The wood fires were great on the cold March nights. The kitchen had The beds and furniture were comfortable. The only negative was the driveway was a bit steep and slippery due to a recent thaw-freeze, but we were able to get our vehicles out ok with a bit of sand. Monica is a great host, quickly responded to our questions. Would definitely return.

Wonderful, bright, clean, and super cool loft. Everything was perfect right down to the big fluffy towels. Walking distance to groceries, shops, and restaurants. Safe, quiet, and secure building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Nick has a host!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! Kristine is really nice host, she instructed us so well about the things. The white folder was nice touch as it has all the places listed around to visit and the places we can go for food or order take out. The place is really beautiful and clean, also suitable for toddlers to play around. She was really responsive and helpful with the questions we had. We will recommend this place to all.

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

This was the perfect gateway spot for my partner and I plus our two small dogs. The cabin itself is basic with a comfy mattress, a mini fridge, lamp, table and heater/fan. The campsite is big and right on the beautiful lake. Bathroom facilities were a stones throw away and always clean. We made use of the shared barbecue. It was a chilly weekend so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beach or boats but it is great to have them on site!

We loved everything about our stay here! The location was beautiful and there was lots of space for the kids to play and the family to spread out. The bunkie was lovely and cozy. The main house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We had great weather and so we enjoyed the firepit and the deck and the various areas to lounge around the property. Hopefully there will be a future occasion for us to return.

Prunella No.4 A-frame cabin is a gem. Nancy and Catherine are amazing hosts - they provided everything we needed to feel at home. They even had all the amenities for our pup, including a dog bed and bowls, which was a thoughtful touch. Their attention to detail, from the property, to the decor and lights inside and outside the cabin, the dock and everything at the lake, was perfect and made our stay a 5 star experience. We loved exploring the trails and taking the kayak and paddleboard out. We look forward to going back already.
