Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

The chalet was absolutely spotless and everything as new. It was extremely comfortable and so well equipped with everything you need and much more. The quality of the crockery and glassware and utensils was of a very high standard which makes self catering a wee bit more special!. Lovely quiet site within walking distance of hotel and restaurants. Furniture on decking just lovely and a barbecue a bonus.Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet weekend so didnt get used.Bedding spotless and again good quality. Wi fi more rapid than at home! An excellent place to stay. Safe decking for dogs and nice area just across from park where the dogs could get a wee run in the woods. Plenty boardgames etc for children( and adults) to play. Host Zoe was an excellent corresponder though we had no reason to contact her once there. Photos do not do the chalet justice. It was just a perfect break in lovely surroundings inside and outside chalet.

A modern structure with floor-to-ceiling glass panels is set against a scenic backdrop of the Scottish coastline. The deck area features a minimalist outdoor seating arrangement and a hot tub, surrounded by gravel and natural greenery, inviting relaxation and enjoyment of the surroundings.

We had a truly fantastic and memorable stay in the Midas. The little house was even more special than we were expecting. Clean, with added touches that made you feel you were a special guest. John was fantastic to deal with. Quick response to my questions. Check in and out were smooth. We arrived early and the cleaners were just finishing, they were friendly and super helpful. Surroundings were so peaceful yet a very short and easy walk to the distillery. All the staff there were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. My husband did several tours and we ate on several occasions in the distillery cafe. The Afternoon tea was a must. Hot tub was wonderful for relaxing in. The view across to Lunan Bay was stunningly. I’d highly recommend a stay here.

Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .

Ruth was wonderful! She set an excellent breakfast spread in the morning! The rooms were very roomy and comfy! She gave us idea's on some points of iterest that where wonderful. We where very thankful for her knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay at Ruth's again!

We had the most incredible stay at Windy Edge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. Lynsay and Dave were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location is perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to shops for anything you might need, striking the ideal balance. The views are truly something special, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I’ve stayed in many beautiful places. Waking up to those stunning landscapes each morning was a real privilege. The space itself is spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, my family made the most perfect memories together Can’t recommend Windy Edge highly enough – we will definitely be back xx

A wonderful place to relax in the peace and quiet of Perthshire's beautiful countryside. Hamish and Liberty are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home. The hike up the hill is a must, and expected to be joined by their lovely labrador Bracken! The shepherd's hut itself has everything you could possibly need and is warm and cosy especially if it rains most of the night like it did for us!
