Every room has its own private bathroom and door to the deck. We have a huge back deck that overlooks the property & the lake that's perfect for entertaining and grilling. 2 docks on the lake that are perfect for fishing.

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

We had a great stay at the home. Loved how peaceful and quiet the home was but still close to downtown for the festival. We had one small issue and the host was super responsive. I had two calls within 30 minutes of reporting it. Loved letting my little girl play under the covered awning.

Great place! Lots of family fun! Host is very responsive and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. I’m already booking for my next stay. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We were able to play our music without disturbing our neighbors. There were plenty of seating for our guest and the property had everything that we needed. There was a grill, crawfish boiler, pool table, games and more. Loved our stay.

Beautiful location on Cypress Lake with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding area. Several really cool amenities - my favorite was the huge amazing shower on the first floor. My family really enjoyed our stay - far exceeding expectations. Most of our group, being advanced in age, had difficulties with the spiraling staircase, but the younger ones thought it was cool. Over all an excellent host!
