Idyllic vacation home in the countryside

Large house with 2 floors and parking. The entire 1st floor and the swimming pool are for guests only. The owners speak German and Portuguese. They produce their own wine there (1 bottle gifted, each to be purchased further for 2.50€) and grow vegetables and fruits. The house is located between Barcelos (10 min. ) and Braga (20 min.) Porto airport is 45 minutes by car. Guimaraes (40 min.) and the Geres National Park (50 min.) are also easily accessible by car.

A well-lit studio contains a spacious bed with light bedding and decorative pillows. Two stylish chairs are positioned across from the bed. Large windows with open casements provide natural light and a view of the street. Wall art and framed pictures add character to the room.

We stayed 4 nights in Elisa's lovely apartment, using it as a base for day trips each day in a different direction. It's a nice space to spend time in, and we really enjoyed the amount of light and private, peaceful view in the mornings when we woke up and had breakfast. The location is great in general, very easy to walk to restaurants or take a stroll around central Braga. Elisa was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had a car, and were able to get by using on-street parking. The spots were paid parking, but it's free from 7pm-9am (and Sundays), and we were gone most of the day, so we only ended up having to pay for a few hours each day, at about a Euro an hour, and were able to pay via an app (EasyPark), which made it simple to extend the time as needed.

A shaded patio area is presented with a large umbrella and two comfortable chairs. A decorative rug lies on the floor, while potted plants and natural greenery provide a serene backdrop, creating a peaceful outdoor retreat for relaxation.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Braga! The place is cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms, comfy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen — everything was thoughtfully arranged for a pleasant stay. We especially loved the large terrace with barbecue facilities — perfect for relaxing family evenings outdoors. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming: they left breakfast items for us and treated us to traditional snacks, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. We truly felt at home. We highly recommend this place for a family stay in Braga!

Small supermarket a 3-minute drive. 30 min from the beaches, 1 hr from Porto, 40 min from Braga / Viana do Castello / etc. Fatima is a thoughtful and very responsive host.

We loved our stay at Rosa’s. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We made great use of the bbq and pool which was a real luxury. Nothing was too much trouble and Rosa’s family were extremely helpful. We will definitely go back. X
