Braylsham Castle

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
John's castle is just amazing. Everything we could only dream of. Setting is idyllic, relaxing, homely, spacious and grand. Laura welcomed us, showed us around and was friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was a treat and cooked beautifully. Any questions we needed answered were done quickly. We dined out at two of the recommended pubs and the food was brilliant. Our labrador Holly was made to feel like one of the guests. She had the run of the castle, loved the walks that were close by and of course the lake truly made her experience 5* too. My children enjoyed a singing lesson with Laura and there was no problem with general noise the children made. We met John and he was a knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you for letting us stay in your home John and many thanks to Laura for everything you did for us too.

The Lodge at Spring Farm Alpacas

RichardRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our week's stay including an Alpaca walk. Chris and Vicki were very helpful and full of knowledge about their Alpacas and Llamas. You could tell that they cared for each and every one of them and spoke to them in a quiet gentle voice so as not to alarm them. So quiet and peaceful especially when the Alpacas were out and we could see them from the living room and bedroom windows and when we relaxed outside sitting at the table having our breakfast. Everything you needed was there and also recommendations on where to visit. We would definitely book again and recommend. So glad we booked this special place.

Luxury 2 Bed Barn Conversion near Ashdown Forest

CharlesRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Sara has decorated and furnished this very spacious cottage with that very pleasant English feel. The double kitchen is spacious. The cosy lounge with its wood burning stove makes this place romantic and the bed is very comfortable. Beautiful place close to amenities and quite easy to find with the instructions received. I could not recommend this place and its host Sara enough.

Meadowside, Hammonds Green Farm, Framfield

Peaceful, well priced accommodation, hosts were friendly and helpful (as was Milo the dog!) with a meadow on site to walk my dogs on lead before their breakfast. Absence of wifi wasn't an issue for a short stay as 5G was accessible on my mobile.

Cosy cabin in the woods

The accommodation was spacious, very well maintained, and equipped, also beautifully furnished and very cosy. The position in Ashdown Forest was stunning, and the surrounding garden lovely. A generous breakfast was left in the fridge, and we were very comfortable.

Spacious family home in East Sussex

LorraineRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I had a lovely stay at Annes House. The house was extremely clean. and very comfortable bed and furnishings. The garden is small but perfectly formed, beautiful Wisteria growing on a bough laden with scented flowers, glorious lavender border, a grape vine growing up one wall, due to the fine weather, I was able to sit outside in the evening, the deck lit by solar soft lights, I could have been in the South of France! The kitchen is well equipped, and for those not wishing to cook, there are a good choice of delivery for a break from cooking . There is also a small but adequate bbq , with plenty of wood available. Anes House is just a short walk to 2 village pubs, both serve excellent food, the train station is set between both pubs. Direct line to London. There is a village green and play area for children. Anne's style is modern ,with a country twist. Lovely views at the back to open fields. I will be visiting again . I Highly recommend Annes House. a perfect host.

Swanky & Spacious Luxury 3 Bed

AliciaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The flat was perfect for our family visit! We used to live in Uckfield and moved 15 years ago. This location was literally within walking distance of our family and friends, as well as loads of restaurants! The flat is beautiful and full of natural light! We traveled with our two teenage boys and this worked perfectly as they each had their own rooms so that they could take time to chill. The hosts have truly thought of everything here... not only is there a full kitchen, but they supply dishes, glasses, mugs and cooking materials! We wanted for nothing during the stay! There were even multiple games available, as well as a list of recommendations for the area! We will happily recommend to all of our friends and will most certainly be back!!
