Beach house vacation rentals in Butler Beach

Our family had the BEST time at our recent stay at The Lazy Green Turtle. It truly is a special place. The house is so well stocked of items you might need - kitchen tools, bathroom products, entertainment and supplies for our kids, and a garage FULL of beach items. Seriously, you don’t need to pack anything for the beach, there is even a beach bag available. Host is spectacular at communicating instructions, information, and recommendations. My only complaint is our time spent there simply wasn’t long enough. Our family is already talking about returning again next year.

This was our second trip to Julie’s place and it did not disappoint. We love her place. She is so nice and accommodating. It has all the amenities you need, a nice yard, and so close to the beach. It is low key, not over crowded with lots of space on the beach. It reminds of a beach cottage in a Nicholas Sparks novel. We will be back!!

We had a great time and enjoyed the house. The host was very responsive. The views were beautiful. Historic St. Augustine is a quick drive away. There are other restaurants and ice cream places in walking distance. The house had everything we needed to cook and grill. I’m sure we will be going back again soon.

I loved this place for a few days away to celebrate my birthday. it was steps to the beach, clean, and i felt right at home (even *almost* falling asleep on the couch). The communication was outstanding and proactive. The place had a luxurious feel that most Airbnbs don't, and the location was outstanding. I'll be back! Thanks so much!

We had a great stay here and will definitely be returning soon! The beach area was not crowded at all and the sand is nice and soft and great for kids. Plenty of restaurants close by and house has everything you need!

We had a great time here. The view and beach are amazing. Just steps to the water and we saw dolphins every single day that we were there. Lots of pelicans flying by throughout the day as well! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an awesome beach. There are so many beautiful shells to be found on the beach! We also found a couple shark teeth, which was very exciting! The Reef, Aunt Kate’s, and Caps are all extremely close, with the Reef being within walking distance. Both decks are amazing and really help keep you cool and out of the sun. The house has a ton of beach toys, boogie boards, and chairs to use on the beach. Tons of lizards outside, which we thought was cool. We did see a few cockroaches in the house and had a run in with a Huntsman spider, but in no way did it impact our stay and it was to be expected. It is Florida after all! The house was very clean and we loved our stay here!

Joanne is the IDEAL host! Beautiful home, plenty of beach towels, beach and pool supplies, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen (even a selection of spices). We felt right at home! Very close to the beach, which was beautiful and QUIET. Just a perfect location. And the pool? Huge. A wonderful place to hang out for the day. The Blackstone made it even better - we cooked more meals than we normally would, because the pool area was so nice. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Joanne’s lovely home again!

We loved our stay at Whitney and John’s place! Their home was immaculate. Perfect for a baby and two young children and a dreamy retreat for the adults. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Adorable restaurants also walkable and perfect for a family! Whitney and John were so lovely and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!

Great view of ocean from the upstairs deck. The public access was very close to walk to or drive if you want to take your car on the beach. Plenty of beds if you have a large group and the pool is nice. Great beachside place.

Pure delight in such a lovely setting! Tropical, lush clean landscape, delightful pool so relaxing and just the right size. The lanai patio was screened in , watching TV with coffee in the AM perfect. Comfy beds, nice linens, lots of space, workable pretty kitchen, outdoor shower so convenient, the tv has good choices, the grill so nice to cook on, we were amazed at the accuracy of the position of the dishwasher! Lol YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE! A short pretty walk to the vast huge beach, so nice to do what you want there, no restrictions, dogs, tents, cigars, food, drinks, you can walk for miles and the shells are fun. We had such a fantastic time at this beautiful home in St. Augustine! The home is very clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect—tucked away on a quiet street but still close to the beach, downtown, restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The house had everything we needed and more—well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and a lovely outdoor area to relax. You can tell the owners really care about making it a great experience for guests. We walked to town every day and loved how easy everything was. Communication with the host was fast and friendly, and check-in was simple. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting St. Augustine. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic and relaxing week staying here. The beach is gorgeous and private. The place was clean, comfortable and had all we needed to cook, relax and spend time with friends and family. Definitely would book here again.

Lisa by far the best host I have had. She really took in my personal information and surprised my granddaughter with beach toys. I explained it was my birthday weekend and she made a cheese and fruit tray along with having a little birthday cake for me! It really made my day! Totally love her house! Short walk to the beach as well, she has everything needed! I recommend staying there!🙂❤️

Exceptionally clean and nicely designed fresh home very close to Crescent Beach and Historic St. Augustine. Perfect for beach getaway and short drive from many bars and restaurants. Great host who made everything simple and provided local recommendations. Highly recommend, short drive to three beach areas.

My family had a wonderful stay for our first time in the area. Most of our time at home was spent watching wildlife from the large porches in the mornings and evenings. We flew in with only carry-ons so the beach chairs, beach bag, towels, water toys were a huge bonus. The house truly has everything you need and a gorgeous view. We had two teenage boys who were in awe of the inlet area watching high/low tide changes and checking out the river wildlife with kayaks - it's a very special place.

We had an incredible stay at this home in St Augustine! Johanna was an excellent host who communicated everything so timely and even offered us early check-in, which was a nice surprise. Once you enter the home, you can tell how much thought went into everything. It's a perfect place for families and very toddler-friendly with tons of toys for the little ones to play with. Most of all, the house is really beautiful and clean, and it's very well priced for how much space you get. It worked out so well for our annual family trip. Thanks to Johanna for making it amazing! Would highly recommend.
