“This is honestly the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at quite a few places. Everything about the stay was perfect, can’t think of single negative. There were so many amazing touches such as the delicious breakfast and the booklet with local recommendations. My favourite part was the decor; so unique but really well suited. Also, Jonathon was so welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful experience Jonathon!”
We’re directly on Avenue Verte, perfect for London to Paris cycling trip! Your bikes can be locked in our garage. The End Cottage was built in 17th century & has many of its original features still well preserved and intact. We very much enjoy the mixture of modern & vintage features. The End Cottage is in a village called Rotherfield, with towns of Crowborough & Tunbridge Wells nearby. There's number of pubs within walking distance & plenty of nice country walks near by.
“A lovely little room in a cute house with a lot of character located right on the Green way bike route between Paris and London. Vil and Lucy made my arrival very easy, I had a restful night and enjoyed meeting their dog George. Highly recommended!”
Modern two bedroomed, separate accommodation with studio kitchen comprising of a combination oven, double hob, fridge and sink. There is also a kettle and toaster, cutlery etc. Youngs garden stable block is on the edge of a charming old village in East Sussex, within striking distance of Bateman's ( home of Rudyard Kipling ) and many other historic sites such as Bodiam castle, Scotney castle, and many more. The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.
“What a fantastic few days away in a comfortable and modern rural retreat! The barn conversion was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with all the basic necessities you need for a short break away (tea, coffee, milk, towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials). The cottage is located just on the out skirts of Burwash village so its lovely and quiet and only a short (10 min walk) to the village center, and importantly the local pubs! We can highly recommend the Rose & Crown pub in the village, the food and atmosphere was excellent. We can also recommend the Claypot Indian Restaurant in Hurst Green for a delicious meal/takeaway. There are a number of National Trust properties within a 30 minute drive, making it the perfect bolthole for exploring. Claire was an excellent host, she made us feel so welcome and we really appreciated her taking the time to introduce us to all the animals and help feed them! We look forward to visiting again soon! p.s If you're visiting over the winter period I would advise you bring a torch if you plan on walking into the village. The village doesn't have street lights!”
