Fantastic, beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood just minutes from downtown. This is one of the nicest BNBs I have ever stayed at. You will not be disappointed.

Sarah's place is lovely and quiet, overlooking the golf course and a view of the mountains. The neighbors were delightful, which added to the charm of our stay. The place was comfortable and spacious. Great to have the extra room and bath on the lower level, which makes it even more private. If you're looking for a place in the mountains near a lake, would recommend.

It was perfect for us. We wanted to be close to Wiseman’s View and this was a beautiful 30 minute drive there. Our kids loved it too. We would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay! Robyn was an awesome, friendly, responsive host that was easy to work with while we look for a home here. The place is very clean and you can tell Robyn really takes pride in providing a good experience to her guests. Nice areas outside to sit and enjoy the peace too. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything. Very happy with stay!

We were in town to visit family and this location was perfect for us! The home itself is absolutely beautiful! We loved all of the plants, watching the birds, and sitting out back just relaxing! The inside of the home was just as comfortable! Plenty of space, comfortable furniture, clean and free of clutter, and just so cute! Definitely felt like home! Joseph was very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. We would definitely come back!!

This adorable cottage was just perfect! Clean, bright and a great location. Mackenzie has thought of just about every need for a great stay including a fantastic selection of games, a well-stocked kitchen, cozy blankets and bedding, and her four-sided gas fireplaces, a great design, and comfy furniture made me want to stay longer. The crème de la crème of our stay was the hone’s location, all of downtown was easily walkable. Our favorite restaurant was a Irish Pub with delicious food and a great staff just a block away. We will definitely be back!

WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

Overall, the stay at Blind place was great! House was clean, location was great, and Blin was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hike down to the water is challenging and accurately portrayed in the listing. Be prepared for a steep ascent when you’re done on the water.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean and looked like new. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nicole's place is very quiet, peaceful and serene. Neighbors we nice and friendly. We felt right at home. Plenty of things to keep kids busy.

Had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—comfortable lodging with stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. Loved watching the local wildlife roam and exploring the great hiking trails nearby. There was plenty to do, yet it was also the perfect spot to unwind. Hope to return again soon! We found this property so well appointed with all of the necessary items we might have lacked. Because of its location and the possibility of being stranded due to in-climate weather, Jason has stocked many items of which a person might need in the event they didn’t bring enough supplies for a few days. We looked at the food items that are stored as being a backup in the event we were stranded for a few days. Fortunately, for us, we over supply ourselves because other properties we have utilized were completely less supplied. We found that all the bases were covered for food, spices, dishes, snacks, as well as things like the barbecue grill and outdoor fire pit. We were very impressed with how the house was supplied and set up for a renter. It was almost like we walked into our own home with supplies existing. We were glad to have this wonderful experience, and would consider it in the future again.

Ashley and her husband were about the friendliest people I have ever met! Her place was beautiful, clean and had just what we needed plus she was a fellow motorcycle rider so we had something in common. Her place is on the top of my favorites list!😎

Serenity Summit is a mountain gem! The 4 bedrooms are spaced out across the house and there are three living spaces to relax in. Open kitchen with everything we needed. Hosts were so kind and responsive to our questions and needs. There was plenty of parking space for our family coming together for our daughter’s wedding. The home is located in a gorgeous gated community with incredible views of the mountains. But…..If your husband’s dress shirt, as Father of the Bride, wasn’t packed and you realize the night before at 9:40pm…..FYI the closest Walmart is 37 minutes away and thankfully doesn’t close until 11:00. We definitely plan to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the incredible outdoor living areas at the house and the lake in the neighborhood. Thank you for your hospitality Victoria!
