We are renting a quiet, bright 21/2 room ground floor apartment (75 m²) with a separate entrance in Berg am Irchel, in the Zurich wine country. Winterthur, Schaffhausen, Zurich and the airport can be reached in 30-40 minutes by car. 60 minutes to Zurich by bus and train. The bus station is in the village within walking distance. The apartment and the surroundings are very child-friendly. Your children will find plenty of space to play on our farm. You will stay on the edge of the village on a farm surrounded by fruit trees.

Zum Hallenstadion kannst du zu Fuss zum Konzert und dein Auto gratis stehen lassen. Die Wohnung hat keinen Balkon, aber einen Garten mit Grillplatz. Achtung: Die Wohnung liegt im 3. Die Loft ist 280m2 gross und komplett mit allem ausgerüstet. Es fehlt hier an nichts. Die Betten im oberen Stock sind von feinster Qualität und auch die Sanitären Anlagen. Der untere Stock ist 200m2 gross und beinhaltet ebenso eine Schlafmöglichkeit für 2 Personen. Wintergarten und Terrasse sind im 3. Stock.

I had an amazing time staying at the place hosted by Nicky, Michi, and Anni. Everything was spotless — super clean and well taken care of. But what made it truly special were the people. The hosts are incredibly kind, respectful, and welcoming. And the same goes for the guests who stay there — it’s another beautiful reminder that good people attract good people. What touched me even more was their understanding and flexibility. They were so kind to meet me halfway — even though they had every right to say no, they graciously agreed to let me leave earlier without a refund. That act of generosity was such a blessing for me, and I’m beyond grateful. I’m genuinely happy with my choice to stay here. Thank you again, Nicky, Michi, and Anni — you made my experience. And the cats are wonderful :)

It was a great pleasure to stay at Luiz's house. He welcomed us very late at night with everything very clean and left us complimentary coffee and tea. He was very friendly and always responded very quickly to everything we asked for. He gave us transportation recommendations and was very attentive to what we needed. The bed is very comfortable and you can enjoy the balcony. The location was great! It was very easy to get downtown and also very nice because we toured very nice parts of the city along the way! Thank you Luiz for everything! We loved meeting you and the warmth of your home! We highly recommend the accommodation.

Admittedly Selias place is quite a distance from the airport. It wasn’t difficult but took two busses and we had to wait about 25 minutes inbetween those busses so it took us over an hour from when our plane landed. BUT.. for the price to sleep our family of 7 it was worth it. I couldn’t find anything close to this price in Zurich and we were really only stopping over for the night before moving south. The noise issue others mention was no big deal. We were tired from travel and asleep by 9:30. The host was very kind and even offered us bread and a few things for dinner. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Thanks Selia!

Dawn and her husband are very friendly, professional, and best in class hosts. They went above and beyond providing snacks, drinks, travel necessities, and info about the local attractions.
