Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bucks County

Incredible weekend stay at Jessica’s home! My family and I traveled (back) to Stockton for a high school reunion and chose this home for its picturesque rooms and yard, walkability to Stockton, and close proximity to New Hope. Jessica went above and beyond to ensure her home is perfect for guests, from welcome snacks (my kids so appreciated) to easy and flexible check in to clear instructions and house, WiFi, etc codes. Would definitely stay again!

This was our third time staying at Sue's place. It is a great location, plenty of space to move around with adults and kids, well equipped. Very responsive to questions.

This was a very cute place for my new wife and I to spend the night! We were able to rest and hit the road again! The kitchen was a huge help to us so we could eat breakfast before our drive! Beautiful and awesome place!

We had an amazing multigenerational family retreat. Joan, our host, is a friendly and highly skilled communicator that discussed our needs & the property amenities before and during our stay to ensure we had a stress-free stay so we could focus on relaxing and enjoying family. The kitchen was provisioned with everything we needed to prepare and serve family favorite meals for 12. Bedrooms and sitting areas on each floor allowed family to either congregate or spend time in quiet. The elevator made it easy for young and old to move floor to floor especially for those with luggage, walkers or bad knees. Even with cool, rainy weather we found the unobstructed view of the river relaxing as we watched boats, fishermen, water fowl and even a juvenile eagle. Once the sun came out, we walked along the canal and stopped at a nearby coffee roaster for coffee and ice cream. Can’t wait to return to use the grill, bicycles, and canoe/kayaks or spend an afternoon in Frenchtown or New Hope.

I've stayed at Renee's house a number of times over the years. It's lovely in all respects, which is why I keep returning. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My husband and I were in need of a much needed escape from our super busy and stressful lives. Heron Cove was just the remedy. This amazingly and loving restored property provided us just the restful, comfortable and amenity filled retreat that we needed from its luxurious master bath, bedding, towels and robes to the superiorly stocked kitchen and so very much more. The three levels of waterfront views and beautiful gardens were a treat and the provided bicycles and kayaks for exploring all of surrounding area were such a bonus. Heron Cove is filled with so many wonderful treasures and books. Every picture and view tells an amazing story of its extremely gracious host/owner, Cheryl. Cheryl’s communication is impeccable and her generosity and kindness is unmatched. Make that reservation you will not be disappointed in this home, its amenities or the quaintness of the area.

Peaceful River Retreat – Perfect for Families! I had such a wonderful stay at this house with my two kids! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The location was ideal — quiet, safe, and surrounded by natural beauty. One of the highlights for us was the river view. We spent hours fishing and just sitting outside watching the water flow by — incredibly peaceful and grounding. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My kids had a blast exploring and spending time outdoors, and I loved how easy it was to unwind in such a serene setting. If you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy some quality family time, reconnect with nature, and still feel close to everything you might need, this is the place. Highly recommend!
