We are a married couple from the Netherlands who fell in love with the country of Norway, AND with the house we now are renovating to become a Bed and Breakfast. We live in Hallingdal since 2008. When this small house in the garden (Hagehjem =Gardenhome) was ready for family and friends to stay in when they visit us, we thought that it deserved to be used the whole year round. Since 2019 we work together with Airbnb and it is nice that more people can enjoy this cozy space. Welcome!

Cabin for up to 4 guests with Hallingdalselva as the closest neighbour. Nice outdoor area and rowboat and kayaks for free use in summer. Guests can bring bed linen and towels themselves, and clean the cabin before departure. Or final cleaning can be arranged and left to us at an additional cost NOK 600,- and bed linen/towels are rented NOK 125,- per person. The cabin is newly renovated in the winter of 23/24, with, among other things, a new bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher.

The area offers a wide array of activities in both summer and winter. We are amid the slopes of Nesbyen Alpin. The area is also widely known for its excellent cross country possibilities. During summer, the 9-hole golf course just down the road, and mountain bikers can enjoy some of the best routes in Norway!
