Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Brienz

I consider myself lucky to have discovered this quiet oasis in the vineyards of Vallamand. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them and left enough privacy, even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for rest as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery and enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The garden seating area is like another world, the furnishings are simple, but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time, because I feel reborn after the stay. Thank you so much Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

Absolutely fantastic stay. A little away from the busier, tourist areas so was nice to enjoy the peaceful neighbourhood. Saying that it is only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Interlaken. Gabrielle was fantastic at communicating beforehand so we knew what to expect and how to get in as we had a late evening arrival. Would love to stay there again should we return to Interlaken. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. Facilities were perfect for a couple.

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

Very friendly and welcoming host, clean and comfortable

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

Unbelievable view, plenty of space for seven people. Absolutely loved it there.

Jenny’s home in Lauterbrunnen is a truly magical place. The home felt warm and inviting and we settled in right away. The location cannot be beat! The views are spectacular and our children adored playing in the stream right behind the house. It’s very easy to catch the bus into town for groceries or to head out on adventures in the area. This has to be one of our favorite airbnbs ever and we have stayed in a lot. We would definitely return and would recommend to friends and family. Jenny was such a kind and attentive host and check in and out was very smooth with her clear instructions and directions to the home. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible home with us Jenny. We were all so sad to leave and we made such wonderful memories there as a family. Cheers!

Andrea's place was really beautiful. It was in a great location with an easy walk to town center and restaurants. The view out of the windows was stunning. The bathroom was large and clean which was nice when traveling. I would recommend staying here for your next trip to interlaken!

Staying and Maria’s home was wonderful! The views are spectacular and the balcony is quite wide, providing lots of outdoor living space. The apartment is quite spacious and was kept in very good condition. Maria gave very clear instructions for check in and check out which made the process very smooth.

What a stay! Nine days in a beautiful and peaceful apartment, with incredible views of the lake and mountains. Our morning coffees, and our meals, were all taken on the balcony, which was very pleasant! This listing matches the photos. It is very clean, well-equipped in the kitchen, and the beds are very comfortable. It is a 10-minute walk from the train, bus and sea (ferry) stations. Perfect for exploring all around Brienz, especially for those who travel without a car. There are also restaurants, shops, grocery stores, as well as the Tourist Office nearby. Christophe is very responsive to our messages, which is very reassuring. He will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This was a perfect place to base out of for some adventures in Bernese-Oberland. It was close to the train station, good restaurants nearby, and an absolutely beautiful view overlooking the Aare river. The place was clean and spacious, and check in and out was super easy. Ruedi and Helen were very responsive.

Hanna and Ernst where the perfect hosts. They were there to greet us and there to farewell us. When we arrived, there were little Lindt chocolates and fruit for us to have and Hanna also gave us a sample of her homemade rhubarb cake. The scenery from the windows was breathtaking and they also had an outdoor area for us to use. Anything you need to know about the area, they were able to help. Thank you for having us in your home.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, it has everything you need - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully located towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof in the back protects you from the sounds of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with baker, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will be happy to come back ourselves.

This is an accommodation where it is unfortunate to only give 5 stars. When I opened the door of the house, I was excited to open the door every day because of the view of the Eiger north wall and the chalet that was gathered in the boil. It's about a 15-minute walk to a nearby station, but it's so beautiful that I didn't know how much time I had.☺️🩷 Not only that, the host, Anita, was very kind, very responsive, and thankful for the thoughtfulness of checking if there were any medium difficulties. Not only on the day of check-in, but even though I had to check out at 6 am, it was so nice and comfortable that I didn't have to drag a heavy carrier to the train station by car.!!! The condition of the house was also very modern and cozy, and it had everything we needed, so we were able to stay without any inconvenience!! In particular, I felt Anita's attention to detail again in the service of providing room slippers and lending umbrellas.👍🏻 If I visit Grindelwald again, I will definitely visit again!!

The surroundings of Doris's apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

The view from Eva’s place is absolutely stunning — you can see the whole lake from the window. The only thing is the curtains are a bit sheer, so the sunlight wakes you up early. Still, a lovely stay overall!
