Western rustic 3 bedroom, 2+ bathroom home on a working horse ranch. Near Hwy 395 at the base of the Sierras. The views are incredible. The fresh air even better. Each room has it’s own AC unit for our guests’ comfort. Private entrance. A bunk room can accommodate additional guests for an additional fee. Horseback riding lessons are available, contact host for additional information. If you are bringing your pets, please send a message inquiring about additional deposit and nightly fee.

Christine’s place was a great stay for our week in Lake Isabella!! It’s in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, nice big back yard for our dog to roam around and to sit out at night to gaze at all the stars!!! Home was clean and looked just like listing. Bed was very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked to make meals, with nice pots and pans. Check in was easy and house was easy to find. It is a short drive into town(10 minutes) and into Kernville(20 minutes) The lake is so close and has so many spots to pull off and do a little fishing or just hang out. Lots of hiking trails, make the trip up to see the Trail of 100 Giants and Nobe Young Creek Falls!! Lastly Christine was a great host…..very responsive, and very sweet! Totally recommend Christine and her home.

I used David's place as a base for a day trip into Death Valley. It is a bit far, bit still very much doable. I met David on the evening of my arrival, and he is a very helpfull and friendly person. The place itself is clean and comfortable to stay in and the kitchen is well equipped. Overall there is nothing to complain about and I can fully recommend a stay here. A little sidenote, on the morning of me leaving, a friendly cat chilled in the backyard and was happy to be petted.
