Die Wohnung ist in 20min mit dem Öffentlichen Verkehr von der Art Basel (Messeplatz) zu erreichen. Der Vorplatz direkt vor dem Eingang darf mitbenützt werden. While I was at Heidi and Dieter's place, I felt like I was being taken care of by a family. They He made coffee for me, and Heidi even cooked my food for me, who didn't know how to use the tools! The room was so clean, warm, and comfortable. Each of the furniture and accessories in the house had a beautiful color combination, and it was fun to feel their taste. The room has a large window and balcony, and the window shows blue greenery. It was a very peaceful time when I ate while listening to the sound of birds on the balcony. Thank you for your sincere help for 3 days!

Jessica and Michael are very nice and accommodating hosts. The property is ideally suited for a visit to Basel. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and has very good public transport to the city. The nearby supermarkets are very quick and easy to reach on foot. I highly recommend Jessica and Michael's place!

It's a huge, comfortable room with plenty of space. Comfortable bed, work table, sofa, dining table and you still have plenty of room to move around. The bathroom is huge and perfect, door to door with the bedroom. Everything is next to the entrance of the house, which gives a lot of privacy, both to Thomas and to the tenants. I thought it was a great place to visit Basel. Very good location, very quiet, with lots of light... we spent a week there and felt at home.

Friendly, quiet room in the countryside near Basel

The room absolutely met our expectations. Everything was sparkling clean, nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Only towels and possibly a broom for a quick "intermediate cleaning" would have been nice. But we had the former with us anyway. We did not meet Stephanie, but she sent us all the necessary information as well as information about the area in advance. The location is truly unique! From the deck chairs in the garden, which we were kindly allowed to use, you have a wonderful view of the surroundings, as the house is located on a hillside above the municipality. The last 200 meters of the driveway are quite steep, but this is only an issue when riding a bike. In about 10 minutes, you can walk to the center. There you will find some nice restaurants and shops. Thus, everything is fine and highly recommended. Thank you and best regards, Heidi and Markus.

Great for sightseeing and recreation

The stay at Iris's place was great with all the comforts we needed. The wonderfully organized kitchen, very clean and with all the appliances you would need. The very beautifully landscaped back garden by Iris's husband, offers moments of relaxation, the joy of hearing the birds sing and lovely flavors from the flowers around. Transportation to the city center is by tram, which runs 7 minutes during the week, and has a fast route (in 10-15 minutes you get where you need). The Basel card (provided by Iris) was very helpful because it saved us from a significant additional expense. We really enjoyed staying at Iris's place and will definitely appeal to her hospitality again when we come back to this wonderful city.
