Directly on the forest and many hiking routes in the area. Also a swimming lake just around the corner. We have nicely furnished our cottage with care and has equipped it with all the comforts. A kitchen with all appliances; dishwasher, combi oven and coffee machine. Outside lovely furniture to fully enjoy nature, the garden is completely fenced with greenery and you can hear the birds chirping there all day. There is good Wi-Fi available so also a great base for a workation (work vacation).

For example, the beautiful forests of Emmen are close by with their dolphins and the Bargerveen nature reserve, but it is also the fortified city of Bourtange.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small esdorp on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe there are forests, fields, heathlands, country lanes, fens, burial hills and dolmens. Many cycling and walking routes run through Valthe which give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request a crib/cot can be placed.

Within a few moments you are in the middle of forest, moors and drifting sands. Nearby, you can cycle and walk endlessly, but there is of course plenty more to do.
