Simple a fantastic place to stay. Everything was in great condition, spacious and tidy. The beds were super comfortable. Nature is stunning and lot of interesting places to visit close to the house. Higly recommend.

As an American family on vacation far away, we were delighted to find this peaceful beautiful home. You can tell that the owner has put their heart into everything. Just beautiful! I slept like 12 hours. It was so quiet, comfortable, and dark. Wonderful. Recommend. 5 stars!

Nice and cool place.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

We enjoyed our brief stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked with lots of extras like olive oil, cooking spices and condiments. The large deck was perfect for star gazing and the hot tub was an excellent place to relax at the end of a long day hiking. We loved it.

My family enjoyed staying here! We had everything we needed for our kids including a pack n play and highchair for my youngest. The views were beautiful as well as the farm. it is a long gravel driveway, but we enjoyed the drive in and it was very easy.

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

Hafdis’ space is cozy and the view can’t be beat. It was as described and there were so many useful and personal touches. Hafdis was so kind and thoughtful. She alerted us of the Aurora so we could see and throughout the night we could view them from the window in the bedroom. The bathroom is clean with a great shower and some privacy from the sleeping space. The kitchenette is well stocked with useful items. If we ever return to Iceland we would definitely stay here again!

This was a worthwhile stop on our Iceland trip. Great facility with good food and other amenities. Lot’s of fun activities for kids.

Super nice spot for camping, in the middle of the nature with a beautiful panorama. You have modern facilities that you need and more (included hot bath tubes and a restaurant/bar where you can have a big breakfast if you want). Personal friendly!

Amazing Cottage! Thank you for the clean and beautiful home as well as the fast replies which made booking and staying in the home such a breeze! Amazing hot tub & grill as well. Definitely would recommend this home to people who’re visiting the area!

What a gorgeous setting! We were welcomed by the host’s daughter, who showed us around the house and was kind enough to introduce us to some of the horses (the property is a horse farm). She even gave us some milk, because we forgot to bring it and there is no store for many miles. The hot tub was not available because it has been windy lately and it needed to be cleaned out. The house is minimal but comfortable, and the mountain + ocean landscape is spectacular.

Very basic, but that is what you pay for. If you get a campsite, you are not allowed to use the kitchens, even for a fee. But other than that, everything was great!
