My place is in Gouarec, a pretty town in the heart of Brittany, on the Nantes-Brest Canal, the Voie Verte 6 & 7 cycling routes & forests. All with miles of cycling & walking. The beautiful coastlines of Brittany are only just over 1 hour drive. The beach at Lac de Guerledan is 10 mins away. A good selection of shops, bars & restaurants are available. La Petite Maison

Liz and Simon welcome you to your holiday cottage in a charming old hamlet. You will enjoy the use of a private garden as well as a warm, comfortable interior. La Petite Maison is a 4 minute walk from a boulangerie (breakfast not supplied). Berrien is 5 mins drive from a supermarket in Huelgoat, and to its cafés, shops and restaurants on the lake. Berrien has some beautiful countryside, such as Huelgoat forest and the paths of the Monts d'Arrée. Morlaix - 22km, Carnatec/Locquirec 38km

Gite du Lac in Caurel (6-7 people)

The house is close to the town center, restaurants and 1.5 km from Lake Guerlédan. The accommodation is perfect for families, hikers on foot and on horseback, business travelers, workers, cyclists and four-legged companions and horses. (direct access to greenway) Caurel is conveniently located in the heart of Brittany. Great walks in the forest, water activities on the lake, local entertainment throughout the season are at your disposal. English spoken in addition to French, of course.

The refuge

Need for nature, calm, come and enjoy a stay in the heart of Brittany. This small, typically Breton house is south-facing. Very easy access, 2 minutes from the Rennes Brest main road. On foot, you can access Lake Guerlédan. For the more motivated, to the Abbey of Bon Repos in Saint Gelven, to the Beau Rivage site in Caurel, to the Sordan cove in Sait Aignan... By car you are 12 km from Mûr de Bretagne, 30 km from Pontivy and 55 km from Saint Brieuc.

From the house on top of a hill overlooking the valley, the Quenecan forest spreads before your eyes. For the most athletics, the 40 kms of hiking trails around the lake would be the challenge they need, while the green way on the old St-Méen-Carhaix railroad or the towpath from Nantes to Brest would delight the walkers, hikers or horse riders. For the most calm and the stones lovers, they can leisure in the serenity of the Abbey of Bon-Repos.

Welcome to Lann Avel, a characterful longhouse located in a quiet village, ideal for a relaxing stay. Enjoy a large wooded park to relax, a stone's throw from the Liscuis hiking trails and its nature reserve. The canal from Nantes to Brest, the abbey of Bon-Repos and the lake of Guerlédan are very close. Swimming, walks, water activities, shops and swimming pool are accessible in a few minutes. A peaceful and refreshing setting awaits you!

A small wooden house with its quiet garden, in the heart of an organic vegetable farm, Ideally located for hikes, admiring the sunken paths, woods, pretty meadows and streams or simply recharging your batteries. It is an invitation to disconnect and return to nature. From the south-facing terrace with barbecue, dining table, garden furniture… you can observe the hill, the forest in front of you and let the songs of birds lull you.

The stable by L'instemps Repos

Relax in this quiet and stylish space. The ground floor offers a very comfortable and spacious living space with a very bright kitchen, a central island for dining and a living room with TV, as well as a toilet. Upstairs you will find the sleeping area with two bedrooms and a shower room with wc. The terrace area is equipped for outdoor dining and relaxing. The firewood is the responsibility of the guest. It's not provided.

1 km from the Nantes-Brest canal, 1 km from the Guerlédan dam and 1 km from the village of St Aignan, well-equipped studio at the end of a farmhouse with independent entrance, very quiet place. Ideal for cyclists, trailers or hikers, two or solo. Many nearby hiking trails, mountain biking and water activities. We are also 50 minutes from the Pink Granite Coast and 1 hour from the Morbihan Golf Course.

Gîte near Lake Guerlédan

A few kilometers from Lake Guerlédan, this cottage for 4 people, redone in 2012, is composed of an entrance, a kitchen/dining room – living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and two toilets. It is located 5 km from Bon Repos Abbey, 10 km from Lake Guerlédan, 60 km from Lorient or St Brieuc. Guests will have access to a large garden, deck chairs, BBQ, ping pong table and badminton set.
