Tiny house vacation rentals in Blue Ridge Mountains

From the moment we first arrived, my newlywed wife and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Sitting just a few hundred feet northeast of the pinnacle of Sharp Ridge and overlooking High Knob to the east, this little mountain retreat is a close friend to dazzling sunrises and a bejeweled night sky, winding Allegheny roads and the sarcastically-named Dry Run, a whole host of critterkind and the timbers wherein they make their homes, yet a stranger to civilization, the worldwide web, and—of course—blue waters. In our case, we wanted to disconnect from the technocracy in which we live and exclusively spend quality time with one another immersed in the beauty of nature, and we could not have dreamed of a better spot. Despite the isolation, the charming town of Franklin is only a fifteen-minute drive away and has plenty of groceries, gas, restaurants, and that all-important cell service. As I wrote in the guest book, West Virginia stole our hearts and this cabin was the mastermind.

My family loved Kaci’s cabin and Brevard! We kept busy exploring in Pisgah National Forest and other local attractions, like Brevard Tubing and Oskar Blues Brewery, but we loved being able to come back and hang out at the cabin and enjoy its splendor. My son especially loved ping pong tournaments in the screened porch. We hope to be welcomed back!

This little cabin up in the mountains was wonderful for two people! It was very clean and quiet. The host David was very responsive and helpful from my first inquiry to my last! He and his wife were very accommodating and thoughtful! Having access to the private lake area was perfect for us! A beautiful, relaxing stay! Thank you to David and his wife!

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

Pan's place is possibly the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. It is nestled in a beautiful private area right by a creek that is always adding beautiful water sounds to the experience. Everything in the cabin is thoughtfully set up and comfortable, I can't recommend it enough. Pan was extremely responsive and helpful when I needed to accommodate a trailer that I was towing. Everything felt smooth and easy and allowed us to relax and enjoy the few days there right away.

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

Oh my, if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded stay, you’re in for a treat! The noise of the world was quieted in this pristine location, surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, a big open sky, and farm animals. Don’t expect to find much to do in the area, this is simply a retreat, away from the busyness of life. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the quiet mornings on the porch overlooking the beauty and the evenings in the hot tub watching stars and being surrounded by almost complete darkness. We had a lovely chat with Kevin the first morning that we were there - he is very authentic, kind, thoughtful, and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this gem!

Absolutely in love with this tiny home! The layout was perfect and I still can't get over how comfy that bed was. The hot tub and grill made for an awesome stay. Tammy Jean is a wonderful host, great communication, very helpful and personable. 10/10

This was our first time staying at an AirBnB and will not be our last. We were impressed! Paula’s SheShed was amazing! The view alone was worth it, you feel as if you are on top of the world. The SheShed is rustic looking but that is all that is rustic. It has everything you could ever want and Paula made sure you knew where everything was. She even went as far as leaving us a bottle of wine, glasses and a card from a local winery since she knew we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The place is clean, very well appointed. There is even wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows which is something I’m picky about to my Husbands frustration, lol! If you are going to just relax, explore the area or just vegetate for a few days this is the perfect place. It is quiet and relaxing. Sparta and Mt Airy aren’t far if you need more.

We loved staying at this cozy and intimate place! Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and fun excursions! The house also included great amenities such as a nice hot tub, corn hole, fire pit, outdoor seating, and projector screen for great movie experiences!

This was my wife and I first time visiting Asheville. After spending about an hour searching where to stay, we decided to lodge at this beautiful cozy A-frame. This allowed us to have easy access to hiking trails, a great view of the mountains and yet still be able to reach downtown Asheville in about twenty minutes. Needless to say we had a great time and we would recommend staying here.

This is a magical place! All weekend, we marveled at the dome, its thoughtful decor, and the unbelievable views. Maddie was helpful and responsive which made the stay so easy. Location feels tucked away but not too far from anything. My goodness, we hope to be back!

We were having such an amazing time that we had to extend our stay by one more day! Beautiful cabin! Can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for rest and reset, this is the place to stay. Spencer and Bela thought through the design of their place which is amazing for a couple or a solo traveler like me. The entrance from main road is true mountain life and is a bit steep and winding leaving the path a bit rough especially after the rain, but I navigated it easily. Once here, no more worries are needed. The detailed recommendations were perfect. I would like to add "The Local Joint" was really really good if you don't want to go to downtown Asheville. I will definitely be coming back for another "Me Retreat" very soon. Thank you Spencer and Bela for a perfect stay.

Our first thought is we don't everyone to know how how great the Little Black Cabin is because we'll never be able to rebook it. We were looking for a beautiful, quiet place for a romantic getaway and this was absolutely perfect. In three days, the only voices we heard, besides ours, were birds and and a coyote who made an appearance yesterday and darted back into the woods. There was no traffic, no noise, and the view - oh my God - is just epic. We brought a cooler with all the food we needed as we like to cook. The Little Black Cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with a real stove, oven, normal sized fridge, a coffee grinder, french press, and a drip coffee maker. Wifi works great, two nice beds, a clean and functional bathroom. Lots of outdoor furniture and we had our meals outside. There is even an an outdoor outlet where we trickle-charged our EV. The Little Black Cabin was heaven, and we will return unless yet another five star review makes it impossible.

We had nothing short of an amazing time at Abrams Loft! The cabin was private and was so peaceful! We spent the whole week relaxing and enjoying the amenities that were provided, along with some of the hosts recommendations for things to do in town. Beyond that- the hosts took time to set up champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, along with a handwritten note congratulating us on our wedding and the start of our honeymoon. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Just book it! Such a peaceful get away. Place Is impeccable and feels like a perfect home sweet home. Very easy to find and the perfect size to go as a couple. Very tastefully decorated and nice to have those warm bathroom floors. 100% would recommend.

My husband and I got away without the kids for the first time in 8 years- what a wait! This place was just what we needed, it felt very private and was perfectly appointed for a couple. We really enjoyed using the soaking tubs and the open shower, we took the kayaks out 4 times over 3 days, and really enjoyed the deck and the kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed- the lack of a full-sized oven wasn't a problem because the grill had a burner on it for boiling water and the entire grill was clean and in perfect working order. We had an amazing time on the kayaks and saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery on the lake and the river. The kitchen and the bathroom were stocked with really nice touches- all of the products felt luxurious. The fresh bread, honey and coffee grounds were such a lovely touch. The quiet was really lovely, whether inside or out, it was so calm and very conducive to conversation, reading and listening to nature sounds. We hope to be back soon!

Carrie was so responsive and welcoming! We stayed here while we toured wedding venues and she made us feel right at home. The property was exactly as advertised and she had everything you could ever need! We loved the quiet, outdoor tub, and the fire pit. We will be back to celebrate our wedding reception!

We loved our stay at the Study! The glass walls gave us a direct view of nature but we could also use the curtains for privacy. We loved the modern kitchen, shower, and floors. I didn’t want to leave!

Marlene was such a sweet host, & the cabin was so cute! The animals were amazing & so cool to see & pet! This was such a fun experience!

This is a true slice of heaven they’ve created amidst nature with breathtaking scenery. The immaculate cabin with everything present to exceed one’s expectations. Exceptional service before and during our stay. We will return and absolutely grateful that that share this wonderful wonderland. AMAZING!!!!!
