Vacation rentals with lake access in Black Lake

Our stay at High Banks Haven was very relaxing with privacy and lots of amenities. The wood burning hot tub was such a treat, we were in it multiple times a day. Once you get it to temp. it’s amazing how well it holds temperature the next morning! A quick walk down a set of stairs to the beach, it’s very rocky but that’s what we were looking for. The master bedroom was cozy and had a comfortable firm mattress. Everything was clean and tidy. Kelly was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and will rave about this place to everyone we know!

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this B&B!! It was exactly fit what we envisioned for our private little getaway following our wedding! It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially having the warm hot tub while we admired the gorgeous lakefront view!! Extremely kind hosts as well!! Couldn’t have been more pleased all around!! We cannot wait to come back!!

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

The Rockhouse was a great place to stay. Our family enjoyed our stay there and would recommend to anyone looking for that area. The entrance over the Koi pond was beautiful, bedrooms were very comfortable, kitchen is large with fantastic living room. Nice place

Our family had a very good experience at the little dipper. It's a nice well cared for space, just a short walk from the water and located a short drive from many activities/attractions. Jessica is a good host who was very responsive to any questions we had. She also has lots of beach supplies in case you forget something, and the two kayaks were a bonus, our kids really enjoyed those. This place was definitely worth our time and money.

Awesome place to stay . Look over the pictures and descriptions of the home . The picture are accurate. There are some quirks ,but come on its a general store that you can sleep in . Not far Traverse City, Petoskey,Charlevoix , or even Mackinaw Island. The Airbnb is a fun and comfortable place to stay . Would recommend.

Great place for my wife and I to be at for 4 days while we biked and checked out the mackinaw area. The house is in a very quiet and remote setting so if you are looking for private this is it. Loved looking out the windows and sitting on the deck and beach watching the ships go by out on Lake Huron. Emillie was a wonderful and responsive host!

We LOVED this place and will return! We came during Thanksgiving week and it snowed that night and it was wonderful waking up seeing snow on the ground and on the lake. It was beautiful sipping coffee looking out the window. Our dog Luna loved it too and the snow! Patrick, the host, thought of everything you could need. We loved the book they put together telling us all the things we could do. It was like a road map to Atlanta. They responded to any of our needs quickly. We will come back again in the summer to take advantage of the boats to fish!

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

Our stay here was great! The place is as advertised, clean, comfy, and well equipped. There is a great sun porch for enjoying views of the lake. Location is perfect as it’s a short walk to ferries and restaurants. We would definitely recommend Bridget’s place and stay again!

We had a great stay. The condo is in a great location between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The condo was clean and had some great amenities.

John and his wife were both extremely nice and welcoming! My friend and I didn’t realize how bad the mosquitos are there this time of year so John gave us bug spray to use after he turned on the fire pit for us to enjoy. Beautiful lot as well, highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

This truly is a 5 star stay! It was convenient to the ferry and walkable to most of the things we wanted to do and see. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay. The bakery downstairs was a wonderful bonus with everyone being very friendly and helpful. This place was amazing! Right by the action but still felt private. It has everything you need for a great stay. The hosts were responsive kind and flexible with us. Couldn’t have been better!!!

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. It was just a described. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and floating dock. We appreciated all the recommendations that were provided on the wall and in the books around the house. The kitchen had everything needed for us to eat most meals at the house and the grill was nice.

We had a great stay at the Guest House! Very private, but not too far from many different things to do! Would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful stay!! house had more than adequate sleeping space, plenty of towels and linens. Would love to rent it again!! it is very well worth the money and you can't go wrong with beautiful Paradise Lake!!

Thanks for sharing this gem of a cabin with us! We cannot say enough about how relaxing our stay was. The location and views from the cabin cannot be described in words or pictures - it really is a place that you need to experience. We appreciate the detail and cleanliness of the cabin. Even the small details are thought of and they did not go unnoticed.

The mist clearing on the lake in the morning sun reveals the changing colors of trees in the Fall Season. At night, the constellations sparkle strongly and clearly in the dark sky. And the sounds of silence increase the sense of peace and wonder. This is what you can experience whether sitting around a lakeside fire or sitting in the front room of the cottage. And making a home cooked meal is a pleasure as well...the kitchen supports good cooking and the dining room table supports warm and interesting conversations. Thanks, Leanne

The cottage was greatl for our first visit to the sunrise side of the state and is well suited for couples or small families. Great location near state parks, Lake Huron, and Alpena. Visiting in mid-October many of the other homes were already closed for the season so the area was pretty quiet. This was great since neighbors are close by - something that wasn't a surprise being right on the lake. We were able to cook meals in the cute, vintage kitchen, enjoyed the well-stocked Nespresso, and spent most evenings around the firepit looking at the stars. Bed was comfy! Weather was warm so there were a decent amount of ladybugs. With the warm weather though there was the bonus of being able to take the owner-provided kayaks out on the lake!

Great place to stay Host was friendly, with nice touches to make you feel at home. Extremely welcoming and helpful. Very quick response to any questions you have. Kitchen has everything you might need. Loved the fireplace in the evening. Information book was extremely helpful for anyone not familiar with the area. Loved every minute of our stay. We used the small coffee pot provided since we didn’t know how to use the large coffee maker. Thank you Julia for sharing your cottage with us.

Angeline’s place was so cute and clean and I loved all of the decor and special touches. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and just taking in the peace and quiet and sunshine. ☀️ The bed was super comfortable so we slept great and she offered plenty of clean towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked which helped me immensely while preparing meals. We found several beaches in the area for rockhounding and also stopped at Ocqueoc Falls on the way to the cottage. Thank you so much for making our trip special. ☺️
