Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A great location to relax and appreciate nature. The house is built into a hill which provides great views of wildlife, stars and sunrises. The master bedroom is located on the top floor and gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding environment. Enjoy a cup of coffee out on the porch swings and watch the sunrise. Beautiful place, plenty of parking space for 3 trucks and trailers. We loved having the wood burner stove for the cold nights after riding. Very comfortable beds, it was awesome to have wifi in an area with absolutely no signal. Would definitely stay again next year.

I feel that for the Price and The up north cabin feeling inside everything was perfect! When I first got there, I was putting the code in wrong for the door, but they answered and walked me through it immediately. Everything else was wonderful. Great Homie feeling, and very relaxing after a long day of hunting.

The copper door lodge was amazing. we stayed for 2 nights and we fell in love with the layout. There was alot of things to do the moment u walked in. They had so many games to play and enjoy. the cabin was bigger than what the photos showed. and the host was really responsive and always making sure everything was alright. they made us feel at home and they made sure nothing was missing They thought of everything. I would totally recommend this place.

The chalet is beautiful, even in the winter. We were able to kayak the river and fish, even in the snow. This is now my son's favorite stay on Airbnb, and now I wish I had a chalet home, nice design and very spacious. The interior is decorated very nice and has every convenience and impeccably clean. You won't regret your stay, excellent value, and we hope to return. The host, Darlene, was in touch with us a week ahead of time with concern about the possible road conditions which turned out to be good. There was two feet of snow on the ground, (very pretty time of year by the way), Darlene had the parking and walkways shoveled free of snow, and she also made sure our check in and stay went smooth. place is set in wooded area by lake beautiful setting .close to town also add was totally correct. place had everything needed .loved pots an pans hanging an not in cupboard.very clean.shades in some windows would be great add on ..but nothing rlse was less than add said .great place we will be back .thanks
