Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Big Cottonwood Canyon

Truly appreciated the little things throughout the house left for us that made the stay easier, more comfortable and felt like a home away from home.

Extremely clean unit/space. Bathroom was clean with a very hot shower with soft water. Only 1 bedroom with a queen size bed that was very comfortable. Other bed was a pull-out full size sofa with provided clean linens. Quick access to interstates, stores, restaurants, shopping. Approximately 30 min to Park City, 20 min to SLC airport, and 25 min to Lehi. Very quiet neighborhood. Host does stay in unit above and we only heard them on our last day and it was non bothersome then. Spotless kitchen. Enough space for 2-3 people. Feel like 4 people would be cramped. Big TVs and kept cooled during the summer despite the thermostat being controlled by the main unit. Easy coming and going from the unit at anytime of the day/night. Would absolutely, 10000% stay here again with 2 people. Didn't need to contact Tiffany for anything but she made herself available if we did.

This was an awesome stay. I stayed for my wedding, to get ready before and after. It was close to my venue which was 8 minutes away up the canyon. It was beautiful up there. The place was provate and clean. And there was plenty of entertainment for groomsmen and bridesmaid to do while helping us get ready. Lindsay was very accommodating and didn't mind we had a few extra people during the day. Also she was very sweet and gifted me a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a wedding gift. 100% would recommend!

Five stars all around. Great location for hitting the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts, and within walking distance of several restaurants. The house is immaculately clean and organized. What really stands out is the attention to detail - a full suite of sharp cooking knives, filters for the coffee maker, hand soap in all the bathrooms, etc... This is probably the best-kept ABnB we've stayed in.

We were here for a quick stay passing through SLC. The home is very comfortable and we had a pleasant experience!

Andrew’s place was great and the perfect retreat for our family, we enjoyed our time there and it offered us the peace and quiet we needed. It was very tidy and spacious. The bathrooms were super clean and stocked with enough towels and toiletries. Andrew was very accommodating to a couple of the requests we had and we really appreciated the consideration. I definitely recommend a stay here.

Can only echo all the 5* reviews. What a lucky find for us and sorry we only stayed one night and didn’t get more time in this fabulous house. The most high spec AirBNB we’ve ever had but still super comfy, spotless and homely. GREAT shower. Thanks for hosting us.

Bruce’s place was exactly as described and pleasant to stay in. The dedicated parking spot, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed are highlights that we really appreciated. The location is also great, feels safe and private. It is close to the highway and when outside you can hear the cars, but inside we could barely hear anything—didn’t bother us at all. The place was a little smaller than we expected but cozy, clean, and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

The place looked just like the photos. Fun to have the ping pong table and shuffle board. Very quiet neighborhood. The host is very friendly and responds quickly. Great stay.

We were in town for the National Archery competition and did not want to stay in a hotel due to noise. This stay was peaceful and quiet. We cooked our own food and enjoyed out trip this time. The neighbors are very nice and Todd the host was checking on us to make sure if we had questions. It was a beautiful home and worth the money.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying here. It was extremely easy to get in and out of the house, and the house was clean. They made sure we had everything we needed and also informed us that they had a couple of dogs and we could meet them if we were comfortable with it, which we were and they were both lovely! I would absolutely come back again if given the opportunity. Thank you so much!

My gal and I really enjoyed Kevin's space. It's a great, large studio setup with a legitimate kitchen. There were lots of little accommodations we appreciated such as tea, lil chocolates, and the fact the spot had recently been carpet cleaned. Kevin and I had a nice convo about his property as well, what a cool house! We hope to return.

Great stay! I brought my dog and she loved the yard to play with Winston and Sally. Great apartment unit. 10/10 would recommend the place.

This was perfect for our family of four and our dog. We had an enjoyable stay. Gary and his wife were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the swim spa, the trampoline and the indoor basketball court. My kids were thrilled to stay here. The yard was fully fenced in. For the most part we had the backyard to ourselves, it was great!

I enjoyed staying in Jennifer’s Airbnb. It is thoughtfully organized with everything a traveler might need. As an avid skier, Jennifer’s Airbnb is well-centralized for day trips up to Park City, the Canyons, Deer Valley, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird. I drove to Deer Valley, but it was way too convenient to take the UTA bus up to Solitude, Alta, or Snowbird. It just takes getting familiar with the larger UTA Ski Park & Ride bus service. The "Transit" app for iOS or Android certainly helps. It is all just very convenient! Jennifer clearly put some thought into a handful of personal touches in her Airbnb, and they were appreciated! Thank you, Jennifer!

Matt was a great host! place was affordable and felt very cozy upon arrival!

We had a lovely stay here. The space was clean and location was perfect. Parking on site was simple, with included parking pass. Check-in was simple, though it took a few minutes to find where the front desk is located - it may help others to know that you're looking for the main entry for The Prospector. Susan was communicative and very quick to respond when we had a question.

Nice facility and well maintained condo/room. Plenty of security in parking areas and entry

Place was great, resort staff was great. My only concern that was completely out John’s control was the WiFi. It was completely open, meaning other people could see and login to your streaming device. This happened several times on the TVs. I eventually just used my phone as a hotspot. Don’t use the resorts WiFi, it was completely unacceptable to not have the devices isolated from each other.

We really enjoyed our time at Jim's condo in Solitude Village. Jim is very responsive, easy to communicate with, helpful, and a friendly person. The condo was exactly as it was described and the pictures representing it. No surprises or any shortcomings. It has all you need for an enjoyable stay, it is furnished tastefully and with comfortable furniture and beds, and has all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay with a fully adequate kitchen cooking/dining supplies. We had a great stay, and would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone looking for similar accommodations. Ideal location and Jim is a superb host! 5 Stars!

Carlos was such an accommodating host and we appreciated him so much. The place was so cute and cozy and was just right for what we needed.

If you are going to ski Solitude or Brighton, stay here. It is a joy just to be in these sunlit rooms. From the windows you can see a ski lift dropping off skiers on a Solitude ski trail. Put your boots on in the room and walk to skiing. Afterword you can take a soak in the hot tubs that are right next door. Bring your groceries from Salt Lake City (no supermarkets up here) and you can prepare your meals in a fully equipped kitchen with the fireplace nearby. If any problems arise, Ben takes care of them quickly with rapid communication. And by the way, check-in is a breeze. You may not think about this, but having your car parked in a heated garage makes winter travel a lot easier too. Loved my stay.

Very convenient to slopes and nice amenities.

This is the second time we have stayed at Govin's place. He is very responsive and his unit is perfect for us. He is also very thoughtful in remembering our preferences such as having coffee creamer available in the fridge. Govin's place has served as a very comfortable place for us to stay we we come to SLC and we will stay again.
