Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. Alma Ranch 2 is a unique property, located on Terlingua Ranch just 4 miles from the Terlingua Lodge, Bad Rabbit Cafe and pool. This trailer has all the comforts of home, with electricity, AC/heat and a septic system (which means flushable toilets) The kitchen is fully stocked, including a full size refridgerator, stove and microwave. We provide some drinking water and coffee. It is nestled in the mountains and provides a view as far as the eye can see. The night sky is amazing, stars forever.

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 100 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with a as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.
