Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Big Bass Lake

Stayed at Aleksey's and Julia's place for a three-day weekend with the family. Aleksey is super responsive and provides clear and detailed information and instructions. Check-in was smooth and we had no problem finding or getting to the house, which is nestled inside a gated community. The place was spotless when we arrived, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Plenty of sleeping space (four bedrooms, including bunk beds in two of the room), and the beds were very comfortable. Heated floors in the kitchen/bathrooms was was great, and the basement sauna was a very nice touch. My kids loved the game room in the basement, and really enjoyed playing in the backyard by the river. There are a lot of families with young kids out and about, going for walks, and the people in the community were friendly. We actually spent most of our time within the community itself, as there were plenty of low-key activities on the community grounds. Highly recommend this place, will def. be back.

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

This house was amazing!! A few buddies and me went to the poconos for a quick golf trip getaway, and this was the perfect house for it, the movie theater was perfect! Stacey was very easy to communicate with, responded in time, and was extremely helpful! I can definitely see us booking again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

I loved everything, the beds were super comfortable, the house was spacious and very comfortable, the only thing is the curtains in the rooms are very light and for sleeping it is a bit uncomfortable and the shower in the private bathroom was uncomfortable since you could not move and for showering it was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise everything was perfect

We just needed a place to stay on our way home, and so I chose this little place because it was cheaper than the big brand hotels and allowed our dog. So glad we did! Comfy beds and furniture, and honestly, the pictures do not do this home justice! The parking was a little confusing, but easily accessible once we figured that out. It was a little warm upon arrival but the window units quickly made it comfortable and the overhead chandeliers doubled as ceiling fans and that helped. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and felt completely comfortable. Also, a huge bonus, we tried the little coffee shop literally across the street -- Mansour's Market -- and loved it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; their baked goods looked amazing; and our breakfast was delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich on a hard roll with Cooper cheese and bacon and am still thinking about it. Don't hesitate to stay here. Cute place!

Absolutely loved this place. I stayed for 6 months. Very secure area and quiet neighborhood. Private off street parking with a camera. Host was very attentive to any issues. Would definitely stay again if I come back to the area. Thanks again Bernard. 5 stars all the way!

We love the house, is very beautiful!!! The house was very clean. Rooms were great! So much space for a big family. Kids had soo much fun, they didn’t want to leave lol. The owner was very responsive to my messages and very kind.

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. What a great stay for my bachelorette party!! Even though it rained all weekend this house was still endlessly entertaining with everything in the basement and the pool and hot tub - Irene’s was the perfect getaway!!! Irene was also very kind and responded in a very timely manner, making the stay easy as well as fun!

The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

Henry’s home was a great experience. The inside is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are lots of games to play and tvs in most rooms to watch your favorite show. The pool was a little small but still very fun and the hot tub was great. The sauna was very steamy and enjoyable.

My group of 12 has an amazing weekend here. The house was clean, was easy to find and the host rads is very quick to respond and helpful. The hot tub was great and there were many great hikes within ten minutes from the house. We had a great time!

This place was beautiful! Soooo many amenities, space, and had everything we needed plus more! Everything was so clean and labeled with clear instructions. The Hot tub, movie room, and blackstone grill with the outdoor fire place made for great bonding and relaxation for our group. Every part of the house had great details. The Sonos speaker and led lights created the perfect vibe! Craig was very helpful and accommodating! I have been recommending this place to other friends and family already!
