Waterfront vacation rentals in Bermuda

This airbnb is a steal due to the combination of accessibility to public transit, promixity to restaurants and grocery stores (all within a few minutes walking distance) plus the view. Because you're right next to the water, you have a built in fishing hole. It's located on a major bus route so you have no problems getting to all areas of the island. There's also laundry facilities, a small lounge area and access to snorkeling gear. Amanda and Barry were super friendly, attentive and made us feel right at home. Even though they lived nearby, the gave us our space and only came by if we needed assistance. The unit itself is clean, cozy and fully equipped. There's also a wonderful warm breeze when you open the doors and (huge) windows. This was my first time back home in a number of years and I can safely say that this is the perfect spot. Affordable, accessible and comfortable. What more can you ask for? Thank you Amanda and Barry from our family to yours ❤️

We where looking for a quiet place, off the beaten path. It was peaceful, the cliff diving and snorkeling was fun. A great view and bbq every night. Local grocery store within walking distant and easy to get a cab to hit anywhere on the island. Enjoyed our stay.

Such a lovely stay, and what a fabulous view. we weren't expecting to be overlooking the water quite as much as it was. wow! Inside was spacious, comfortable, well appointed, with zen like modernity as the finishing touch. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Nice place to stay off the beaten path, but close to bus stop and beautiful beaches. Super location if you are into boats being right on a dock. We were taken to the grocery store to buy some groceries right after we arrived. That was really nice and made the stay more like at home. Bus stop a short hilly walk away. Even though the hosts lived upstairs, we were left to our privacy and enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I had a lovely 8 night stay at Margaret's place. As others have mentioned, she paid for our taxi upon arrival, and had some snacks and breakfast items waiting for us in the fridge. This was very helpful. We did walk to the nearby grocery store once, but with the high heat and humidity, it was really tough on me, and we needed to get a ride back. The bus was an easier walk, and we used it frequently. Everything we could need was there, and the cottage was very clean, quiet and peaceful. I appreciated having a washer and dryer. Between the heat and humidity, and frequent beach days, we went through towels and clothes quickly. The property is beautiful, and snorkeling and kayaking off her dock was fun and safe. Early evening was great, as the sea life became more active - we even saw a green sea turtle and spiny lobster. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Just be aware of temps and humidity with the walking from this location, and around Bermuda in general.

Kacey and Diana were great hosts, always responsive and helpful as we explored the island. Sweeping views of ocean from deck and hot tub. Apartment is like a studio with one room for bed and kitchen. There’s a market on the main road, a 12-15 minute walk which includes a steep hill. FYI: We rented a Mini EV/Twizy which struggled to make it up the hill with 2 passengers and luggage.

True to the Bermudian culture, Goodwin is the friendliest of hosts. He responded promptly to our many, many questions leading up to and during our trip. We appreciated that the apartment matched everything in the listing; the place was thoroughly clean, the kitchen well-stocked with more than we could need. The location is perfect, mere minutes from the airport and only a few steps to two of the main bus route stops, and the beautiful Railway Trail just around the corner (that's well worth the time to explore and walk in either direction as far you're able or willing to go). Getting around the island from the apartment was trivial. Beware the tiny little ankle-biter of a guard dog upstairs; that puppy has a big attitude until it's able to come sniff and check you out. :-) We would be more than happy to stay with Goodwin again should we have the opportunity to return to Bermuda. This has got to be best value Airbnb in Bermuda. The home is small but perfect for a family up to 4 people. The hosts are incredibly friendly and have a wealth of knowledge of the island. Horseshoe Bay Beach and the neighboring beaches are 20-30 min walk (with some steep incline both ways). A fully stocked grocery store is a 5 min walk. The bus stop is right in front of the grocery store. The dock is beautiful and the we did a sunset kayak ride on the bay which was incredible. The kayaks could be a bit difficult to get in and out of the water for a smaller person. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. The pool is small but our 12 year old didn't want to get out of it. We made good use of the snorkeling gear at several of the beaches. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay.

David's place is at one of the prettiest beaches in Bermuda... the house is exactly as described The whole house, particularly the kitchen was very well equipped and we like to cook so that was much appreciated. Also there are little touches, like beach chairs, umbrellas, sun lotion, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. We travelled with our daughter and son in law and there was space for all. it's really the nicest part of the island for a relaxing stay.

Super nice location. Walking distance from bus and 3 fast food locations and one grocery store. We rented a scooter from dockyard which he is only 15 minutes drive from this location. You can also take a commuter ferry, about 5 minutes walk ( we did not try that). Since all of Bermuda harvests rain water, we bought lots of drinking water for our 5 day stay. I would also recommend carrying exact change for bus or buying a pass. Bermuda is SUPER EXPENSIVE. Make this once in a life time vacation. We might still go back :)

Our family had a great time at Cindy's home. We took advantage of the location, the boys paddle boarded, fished and snorkeled in the bay. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and the beauty of a well manicured yard. The house had all the amenities as advertised. The bus stop for rt 6 buses is very close to the house. We could explore the entire island with the public transport. Nancy Cindy's mother was extremely helpful and made our trip so much more comfortable.

Communication w John was fantastic. We loved where the house was located if you’re looking to explore both ends of the island. Not far from the airport as well. There aren’t too many places that are walkable but jumping on the bus or ordering a taxi is very easy. I was a little bummed the ladder into the water is no longer there which makes it a bit more difficult to get in and out to swim but it’s doable. We liked The layout of the house with 2 bedrooms and a bath on one end which was perfect for my wife, son and myself and the other bedroom is on the other side of the house upstairs with its own bath so my mother had her own separate space. John was an excellent host and very responsive. We would stay here again and will be back to Bermuda in the future. Oh and the sunsets are unreal! Thanks John!

We were in town for a wedding. I share the space with my sisters’s family…. The place was more than adequate for eight of us. Swimming was perfect….lots of gear to use. Snorkeling was an unexpected surprise. Lots of coral and fish to see. Neighborhood was very friendly. We were always greeted with a friendly hello.

This has been the best air bnb experience! Cornell is an incredible host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. He goes out of his way to assist in everything. His house is amazing, spacious, like home, has all you need. His welcome packet has so much useful information and his communication is outstanding. We had 4 kids and they had a blast! We can’t wait to come back to this lovely home with an amazing host! Again all was impeccable and we could not ask for more. I recommend anyone coming to Bermuda to stay at his place. The location is perfect close to everything with a bus stop outside. We were sad to leave but definitely we are already thinking when to return!

Warf Cottage is amazing and Colin was a fantastic host. This is an historic home with tons of character and you can see the crystal blue water from every room in the house! Amazing views to wake up to, dine outdoors and relax by the dock. We rented a boat from a very close by watersports outfitter and were able to utilize the dock on property, paddle boards and kayaks, snorkel gear (all provided) are also great as the property is in a protected bay area. Sandy's Parish is residential so you will live more like a local than a tourist-which we loved. Bus stops are located just up the road as well as the bike trail converted rail line. Colin was super responsive prior to our stay and Gary helped with all needs once we arrived- (even went above and beyond and gave us a lift to the grocery store on arrival). The place is clean and well appointed. For our family stay, 3 bathrooms and 3 showers was a huge plus and had to find!
