We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and cozy village, where you can find various shops and also a market. At a short distance are several cities such as Mataró and Barcelona that we have visited. Upon arrival there was a large fruit bowl ready for us and also the (cool) cupboard was filled! The cottage is exactly big enough for 2 people. We made a lot of use of the shared outdoor space with swimming pool, these were not used by Toni and Olga during our stay. Around the evening there are mosquitoes, so they have brought a lot of things for that in the house, such as candles. It is wise to bring your own anti-mosquito spray if you want to sit outside in the evening. Toni and Olga are very welcoming, they responded quickly to questions or requests.

The advertising is correct - visit Barcelona, stay at the beach. Barcelona is about 40 minutes away by train (which is a short walk). The beach is just across the road and under the train line - perfect for the hot days we had. Also close to lots of small supermarkets for food and wine; also to many beach cafes and town restaurants (note the Spanish eat late - after 1pm for lunch; after 8pm for dinner)

The house, the accommodation, the surrounding area and hospitality make this the most special Airbnb accommodation we have experienced so far. The beautiful surroundings and the tranquility it offers, fit perfectly with the house that Pau and Wafa have built together. The house is beautifully decorated and offers the ultimate opportunity to relax and connect with nature in the area. Advice on beautiful locations and the excellent service during our stay helped us enormously. We had a very pleasant contact with Pau and Wafa. In addition to our private moments, we also enjoyed great conversations and dinners with them and the local residents. The local experience has stolen our hearts. The house is very nice and well cared for. It has horses nearby and a giant garden. I am so satisfied with this accommodation that I want to come to Manresa again. I recommend long-term accommodation rather than short-term accommodation. Especially, the nearby lake park is a healing shelter where you can feel the daily life of Manresa residents. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, basic cooking utensils, and a grocery store and wine shop nearby where I could get good ingredients, so I was able to enjoy life.

Crisant met us in front of the apartment and gave us a full tour with clear instructions. Very friendly and always quick to respond with our questions. Gave us a very generous check-out as no one was scheduled that day. Sent restaurant recommendations after discovering my son was a chef. The place itself looked like the photos. Very quiet never hearing any neighbors. Our favorite spot was the terrace for morning coffee and evening wine. All amenities provided. Market around the corner for provisions. Area is very safe and walkable. Close to train station. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay for the Grand Prix and would choose this again for the convenience of not being amongst the crowds going to Barcelona. Plus Granollers is a very cute town with plenty to do for a short stay. I would HIGHLY recommend Cristants place to all.
