The house is perfect for spending a few days and visiting the area. It is very comfortable, very clean, with pellet heating and fireplace. The village is very quiet next to a river. Patxi's information and service very well.

The owners, Enrique and Conchi, were very helpful at all times. The accommodation is very conveniently located to visit Las Merindades. 2 spacious rooms with built-in closets. Full and large bathroom. Well equipped and clean kitchen. Large and bright living-dining room. We stayed on the first floor (there is no elevator but the stairs are wide) There is no garage in the building, but you can park very close without a problem. Bars-restaurants, bakery, bank and supermarket nearby. The roads are in good condition. The area is very rich, both in nature and in architecture. Highly recommended area to visit and accommodation to settle in.

Very spacious house with lots of light, with a beautiful interior terrace that provides a lot of privacy, where you can rest, read, dine, have a barbecue..... The whole house is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen (very important). A lot of peace in the village, where you can go on walks and hikes to disconnect and relax. Parking at the foot of the house. We slept in luxury, which we value very much. Communication with the host was very smooth and pleasant. Just over 20 minutes from the city of Burgos. Undoubtedly to be repeated.

Hello, everyone and all!! We just spent a spectacular weekend in Las Merindades, in Raquel's incredible house. First of all, I should point out that it was a surprise getaway for my partner, for her 30th birthday. From the beginning, Raquel was a lovely person, helping me with everything, offering me plans and help with anything that came up. She left us a letter with congratulations included and two chocolate muffins! The house is even better than the photos, the garden is huge, with hammocks, a barbecue, plenty of space for our dog (he had a great vacation), many trees and shade, a porch with an unbeatable table for breakfast and dinner; the house inside is absolutely amazing, impossible not to fall in love, we loved even the smallest detail! I don't want to say goodbye and recommend this house, without first thanking our host and telling you that Raquel is 10/10, her and the stay of course! Don't miss Frías, Puentedey, Tobera and Ruinas de Rioseco!!

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Sergio was a great host, very helpful and with excellent communication at all times. We have been 3 families in your house, in total 9 people, very comfortable. The house has everything that is described, with 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and the garden is especially noteworthy. It's a real luxury to eat in that wonderful garden!! To tour Las Merindades, Medina de Pomar is the perfect location. As for the house, everything is as in the photos, impeccable and clean, without missing details, including what you need for breakfast, as well as one of the photos. The parking, nothing problematic. To get downtown, only 5 minutes. The parquet Villacobos, exceptional, to take a bath in one of the pools of the Trueba River. And Medina de Pomar, full of corners to photograph with a lot of history behind it. In case anyone doubts, Medina de Pomar, it is a city in the center of a setting, Las Merindades, with some of the best places that can be visited in Burgos and I would say that in Spain. And this home does it justice.
