Cottage vacation rentals in Ben Lomond

We had an absolute gorgeous stay. The location was close to fabulous cafes - Linda's Seabreeze and Harbor Cafe were our faves - and just minutes from the beach. There is also a lagoon nearby for birdwatching. I was worried the spot would be tight with four people but there was plenty of room to stretch out. The yard had patio sets for reading outside in the sun. And the hot tub was immaculately clean, plenty hot, and a wonderful way to end each day there. Would absolutely return the next time I'm in Santa Cruz.

This was our second stay here. Our daughter's family lives in the neighborhood and this is the perfect location for us to stay while visiting. It is quiet, comfortable and just what we need. The yard is very cute and we love to look at the animals with our grandchildren. We lucked out and saw the planets aligned from the driveway on the 25th, as it is dark enough to view the stars without city lights. Don and Lori are great hosts- there are treats and fresh eggs in the fridge, and everything we needed was right there. We will be back.

Mara is a great host, charming and thorough.........a great combination for us! Her detailed instructions and "hands-off" thereafter approach was perfect for us. The unit was just the right size for us and had everything we needed for our week plus stay. We hope to visit and stay again in the future as the location is perfect for us.

A magical sanctuary! We loved every minute of our stay and the only negative part was that we had to leave. The location is epic- walk anywhere, restaurants, beach, UCSC, downtown, coffee shops. The hot tub is totally private and the place has a very homey feel. The lot is beautiful. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Better than we had anticipated. Tastefully decorated, very clean and exceptional details throughout the house. Peaceful night stay because the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. Will look forward to staying in other places offered by this host.

Stayed for the first time in Pescadero with the family. Steve's place was perfect - great location, well equipped, lots of space. Loved the views and accessibility to it all. Thanks, Steve, for sharing your wonderful place with us.

This cottage was the perfect getaway for a long weekend with friends and a small dog. The bathroom was super clean, and we enjoyed hanging out in the front yard and being able to walk to the beach and shops, etc. Gabriel was super responsive, helpful and friendly! Will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful time at the ranch—the location was beautiful, and the unit was spacious. There was hot water and strong WiFi. Dogs on the property were friendly and adorable. However, the cleanliness of the unit could use some improvement. It would benefit from a professional deep cleaning to really match the quality of the overall experience. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

This was a great place! Close to everything but still very quiet, clean and lovely on the inside with a beautiful courtyard on the outside and safe parking. Everything was just as described, and I would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect little place for our family of 4! The house had everything we needed and had beautiful surroundings. Our daughters loved the porch swing out front. We saw hummingbirds right outside the kitchen window where the feeder was hanging. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The organic coffee was very appreciated! Wish the queen bed mattress was a little firmer (was lumpy & soft- not great for those with bad backs) but overall very happy with our stay!

Thank you Tamara for sharing your lovely home. We had a great time in the area and your house was the perfect place to return to after a long day at the beach or hiking in the local redwoods. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed barbecuing for dinner while enjoying the great view from the backyard deck. We would definitely recommend your house and the area to others!

The pond house was so relaxing! Close the costal redwoods and tide pools, this cottage is in prime nature loving location. The cottage is on the same property as the owners yet still felt incredibly private. Our toddler loved exploring the back yard and I enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. The view was spectacular. Hoping to be back again!

Anne’s cottage on the beach was absolutely wonderful! It’s such a special place—my family and I had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The views of the ocean are beautiful, and the beach is just steps away. We also loved having a few local restaurants within walking distance. Anne was the sweetest host—so kind, responsive, and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The house was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We truly hope to stay here again someday.

This little cottage is snug, but it had everything we need. Andrew and his family were very sweet and incredibly helpful. The neighborhood was beautiful and very close to everything we needed.

The house(s) were extremely clean, with toys and books and games for our kids. I didn't realize it was two houses but it ended up working out very well for us. Our youngest son was so in love with the goats, it was the first thing he asked for in the morning! We will definitely stay here again!

my husband and i stayed for 2 months for our sunny winter retreat and it was PERFECT! everything is well stocked from kitchen appliances, linens, toilet paper to batteries. so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. the deck is DIVINE and sun streams in the house morning through sunset. the beach is an easy walk away and very few people during the week. i requested cotton bedding and green, fragrance-free cleaning and Lori generously accommodated our needs. thank you, thank you, thank you!

Everything was perfect! Loved the prearrangement of goodies. Kids loved it, wonderful location - super clean and stocked! Will come again.

The stay was amazing!! Everything was clean and immaculate. The area was a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, good food was never hard to find or too far a distance, and there was always something you could do. Overall perfect place for our weekend stay!
