The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the village, surrounded by meadows and fields, is our apartment on a historic mill farm. First mentioned in 1311, it is one of the oldest properties in the village The guest suite (Müllerstube) is a self-contained apartment on the first floor of the house and can be locked separately. You will find a kitchen with cooking and dining facilities, a dressing room, a bathroom with shower and a spacious bedroom with a double bed and two single beds.

At the foot of the mountain is the city of Sondershausen, so bakeries and shopping can be reached within 5 minutes.

The accommodation is oriented to the garden. A large terrace and garden can be used by guests. Access to the apartment is through the garden. In close proximity there is a supermarket, with butcher and bakery, a cafe, another bakery and a pharmacy. Breitenworbis is on the A 38 with a direct exit. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

We occupy ourselves with the small garden and the animals, try our hand at old handicraft techniques, explore the surroundings, go for a walk in the forest and swim in the outdoor pool. This is how we relax here and regain strength for everyday life.
