Yuma’s 4- garden view, Luxe, Nature, next to Pool

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at the Yuma Lodge. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the cabins are well thought out and very relaxing. Super comfortable beds! It’s just outside of town, but as we had a car it was super easy to get into San Ignacio while feeling like we were staying out in nature. Would gladly return!
A charming cabin is surrounded by lush greenery and tall palm trees, set against a bright blue sky. A well-maintained pathway leads to the entrance, which is framed by various plants and bushes, creating a serene natural setting.

Great place with friendly hosts. Loved the trails and wildlife around the pond. I would stay here again if I came back to this beautiful country.

Blissful Jungle Cabana, Near San Ignacio

IngeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our little cabin had everything we wanted, good mattresses, nice outdoor shower, air conditioning (a big plus!), a screened in porch, hammock. A very peaceful place, where we woke up to the sound of birds (and a band of howler monkeys one night). Kate is super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations and information. We had breakfast and dinner a few times and the food was excellent. Bullet Tree Falls has grocery shops, good bakery, restaurants (or maybe just the one we went to right above the river, which was very good) and a beautiful river. We were really glad that we drove the extra 4 km from San Ignacio to stay there.

Airconditioned Room 1 w/Shared Kitchen

Our stay was wonderful. The host was so friendly and accommodating. It was within walking distance of many great restaurants. We ate at Erva's at the hosts recommendation and it was delicious. We also visited the Iguana Conservation at the hosts recommendation and had an amazing time. If we ever find ourselves in San Ignacio again, we will definitely book again.
A close-up view of a green lizard resting on a wooden plank. The lizard's textured skin and distinct facial features are visible. The surrounding wooden deck adds a natural touch to the environment, showcasing the wilderness of the estate.

Casa Tropical Howler Hill

RomanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Casa Tropical Howler Hill was a delight! From the spectacular view, to sightings of tropical birds with our binoculars, to the gracious and private accommodations, we couldn't have been more pleased. The biggest highlight was interacting with Millie ~ she cooked multiple *delicious* Belizean meals for our group and offered invaluable advice. She helped make our stay truly lovely. She's a gem! We rented an SUV with all-wheel drive in the dry season, which made it possible to traverse the 45-minute+ gravel road to and from the house, as well as visit the Xunantunich Mayan ruins, the Rio Frio Cave and Rio On Pools, and the ATM Cave. We're adding to the chorus of positive reviews here: this is a special place.

Nabitunich Resort - Cottage w AC on W Belize farm

JackRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Dominic and Rebecca are exceptional hosts and I highly recommend staying at the Nabitunich farm. This is a stay for people looking for an authentic experience outside of the “tourist zones” of Belize —accommodations are rustic but comfortable. I most enjoyed speaking to the other guests and hosts—we met several other adventurous spirits that had interesting stories and perspectives. The proximity and river path to Xunantunich was also super cool!
